She most probably watched it a couple of times and I don't think cureclover figured out everything by herself.I think she just collected all of the information from websites like ergoproxy.wikia.com in one post and added some of her own opinions.And I think that such animes are not about knowing the story that creators intended to tell, but more about your own thoughts and theories, it makes it a lot more interesting.
Ergo Proxy is a dense, complex show. I don't think anyone can "get" all of it in one watch, at all. That said, glad you enjoyed it. It's among the best of anime, in my humble opinion.
