That's just like saying Clannad and Silent Voice are similar because both of them has the story revolved around girl with disablityđ/ illness. Both of them happened to be a soap story so many people said both of them are sad story so they are similar in a way they made them sad lol. That's too superficial way to see both shows. From the look of it the idea of being cautious is sort of gimmicky and MC being Op is already bad in a way......
Just because it's also an isekai comedy doesn't make it similar in any way. The MC or the cast is already so different. Comedy always derived from the characters and it's just vastly different between both shows. Do you like the show?
Breath of the Wild has been a ton of fun to replay! I thought I'd just do the 4 mech thingys before fighting Ganon and then rush off to Tears of the Kingdom, but now I'm trying to 100% everything except the Korok collecting, which is just a ridiculous ask for the game.
I definitely like Windbreaker 2 and Witch Watch from the promos. Witch Watch should be different from a lot of other shows, which I think will help it score points too.
The last few years I've just watched anime in the winter. When Crunchyroll had a free option I'd watch year round, but not anymore. If something good ends up on Hulu I may take a look at it even if it isn't Winter since I am borrowing a family member's Hulu account. I also just got an Apple giftcard that I might spend on a few months of Apple TV, so if there are any anime on that I might have to see it.
I also do bouldering at a climbing gym with some friends during the winter months. We didn't get out as much this year due to scheduling conflicts, but that just means less money spent by me! In the warmer weather we shift to disc golfing. I also try to do some bike riding in the summer with family. Do you have any season-specific hobbies?
I haven't watched the season yet but I did read the latest manga but I was curious about if they added the lastest manga chapter 12 which I will not spoil but let's say Maomao just discovered very interesting on Jinshi is so hilarious I wonder if they can air it
Thanks! I'll try to find some time to give it a listen.
I played Xenoblade Chronicles 1 and really like it, and I played Xenoblade 2 and it was decent. I'm passing on Xenoblade Chronicles X, though. I'm hunkering down on spending due to all the chaos from the tariffs and whatnot. I also bought Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom a couple of months ago, but I haven't actually played it yet. I thought I'd speedrun through Breath of the Wild again before playing it, but it's proving to take a lot longer to get through than I expected because I want to do everything all over again.
I'm thinking of putting Windbreaker Season 2 and Witch Watch for my roster, but otherwise I don't know about the FAL roster.
I'm skipping 2025 Spring anime, I think. Anime is more of a winter activity for me, so I'll be waiting until November or December to get a Crunchyroll subscription and watch a few shows then.
Because it's quite popular and has a strong fan base it looks like. I really don't rec Kaiba since not that many people knew about it. But I would consider change my bench later to add it. And for MHA, it's not about the main character so it's not likely going to be hyped up that much with the emergence of new action show.
None of our choices are same maybe except for Rock lady lol. I chose mostly based on popular trend on current anime that most likely hyped and more action packed ones since those demanded the most. And also Forma and Dinner detective has star VAs too so they are easy pick. For bench I pick Summer Pockets (popular Vn adaptation), Black Butler sequel and Akage no Anne remake.
If you end up liking the book let me know and maybe I'll give it a shot.
I meant to watch the Pokemon anime this winter, but somehow time got away from me, so it'll have to wait until next winter, I think. I'm trying to squeeze Scott Pilgrim into my watch time before things get too warm, but I've also gotta work on Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
I have no clue who to pick for FAL right now. I took a quick glance at the options and only a couple stand out. I'll have to do more research over the next couple of weeks before I lock in my picks.
Kind of still unsure, I dunno. I can't stand OP main character just typical generic Isekai. But it's still on my plan anyway. Thx for the heads up I guess. I'm literally talking from his POV not a generalization. And Idgaf on what other people might think of me either. You can freely stating opinion as long as you don't hurt people in any way.
