Less is more, sometimes. Following the seasons can be tiresome in its own way. When I returned to watching anime, 12 years ago, I wasn't following some ongoing show. I picked up on older shows I had heard of, and just watched them, sometimes binging them. That was just something I used to do. And by spending too much time watching the seasonal anime, I ended up realizing that half of them weren't as good as I wanted them to be. Not good for me, at least. That time could've been spent differently. So, in my own way, I'm making sure I never get tired of anime, by only watching what I truly feel like I need to watch.
Precisely so I won't ever feel overwhelmed again. At some point, watching anime felt more like a task, and I don't want that. Our reasons are slightly different, but our solution more or less the same.
Apocalypse Hotel is one of the most promissing titles this season. There's something about that sort of cozy post-apocalyptic anime. Kinda like the positive mood of Shuumatsu Train (Train to the End of the World). On that topic, heard of Girls' Last Tour?
Well, this year I already did Gunbuster (1988). Another title I intend to visit this year is Key the Metal Idol, from 1994. And while not particularly old, I had stopped watching Re Zero after the first season, because of all the pilled-up anime. I'm solving that now. Also, I only watched Kaitou Saint Tail (1996) in my native Portuguese language, so I need to solve that one day. Is there older stuff you are into?
Turning back the clock just a little bit, did you enjoy anything from the Winter season? For me, it was most Ave Mujica and Kusuriya no Hitorigoto's second season.

Yeah I did I enjoy my time watching them, yesterday for my birthday activity was just stay home and watch cartoons today. With a ice cream and a small party dinner.
I'll admit that I haven't watched cartoons for quite a long time. But I do remember one that I was absolutely hooked on a while back. Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. To this day I love it. That and the Powerpuff Girls. There are some cartoons I keep hearing about, such as Adventure Time and Star vs. the Forces of Evil, that caught my interest. But I haven't watched any of them as of yet.
Because of the draining schedule, I have chosen a very small list of anime to watch this season, as I did last season. As of this season I am following 4 shows. Namely, Apocalypse Hotel, Kusuriya no Hitorigoto (which was already airing last season), Gundam GQuuuuuuX and Rock wa Lady no Tashinami deshite. I am loving all these shows, and there are a few others I'm sure I'd love, but am stepping away from. Even though there are shows I loved last season, this season sounds far more promising. Particularly, GQuuuuuuX caught my attention. Shows that I wanted to check this season, but decided to postpone include Lazarus (simply because it's from the Cowboy Bebop director) and Kowlon Generic Romance.
Part of the reason I chose a small number of shows is also connected to how there are shows I want to finish or shows that I've been meaning to watch for a while, but haven't. If I watch fewer shows from the ongoing season, then I can watch more older shows. Since I particularly enjoy old-school anime, this is a positive.
Also, It's gotta be this year. I need to start Aikatsu this year. I mean, I have to. And yes, I'll give you my thoughts on Aikatsu when I get to it.
PS: Any title caught your interest this season?
And if it's not an indiscretion of mine, how are you doing?
Aikatsu. I've been meaning to watch it for a while now. It's one of those really large series that's been on my "definitely I'll get to you one day because you look like a kind of anime I'd like" kind of series. The Pretty Series as well. And I only watched one Precure as well, despite my desire to watch other entries in the Precure series.
Well mostly Agatha Christie like
Enola Holmes (my friend recommended me for a long time)
Muder at the orient Express
Knives Out
By the how it going on your side.
For youtubers I mostly watch Hbomberguy, Folding Ideas, Big Joel, and Jacob Gellar. There a bunch of others I see from time to time that I try to check out. Hbu?
Yes, her exactly. I just realized she has a Youtube channel.
And well, thank you. I appreciate it. And likewise. If you feel like talking, that is. Also, I could be wrong, but is your profile image from Aikatsu?
As for content creators, I won't say i have any. Like if they pop up on my notifs I'd watch the ones I have notably enjoyed watching previously. It's been a good while now. Hbu?
I took a break from genshin and only recently came back. The recent event is really nice~I mean the one with baby dinosaurs.
I guess it's the playing that takes away my watching times haha..are you focused on other things then since you're also watching so little?
