If I had wrote an review on Medeka I would also put a 4 / 5 out of ten because their are a few little microscopic pieces of "good" things in it , my comment was just my first thought nothing serious :)

Nice 'Medaka Box" review, even though I have some sort of reservations about your rating.................Then again it's your review.

Medaka Box do not deserve a 5 .

But a 1/10 ... I just can' t understand why it's been adapted, this manga exceeds in nullity . There no plot whatsoever, the characters have no personalty , but are just screaming in the entire manga and trying to act intelligent reaching the paroxysm of debility .
The art well is just incredible bad , with all the two seconds an ecchi view for the fan service ...

You're severely overestimating Nisio Isin and underestimating Gainax in your Medaka Box review. While I don't disagree with your rating so far, as the introduction is pretty mediocre, there is at least one thing I want to bring to light.

Medaka Box is a manga that runs in Shounen Jump, not a light novel like the great majority of Nisio's work, so of course conversations aren't going to be too similar to his other works as it's being aimed at an entirely different demographic with limited room to work with on a weekly basis. You can't really blame Gainax at all for this, especially seeing as the first episode was a 1:1 adaption of the first chapter of the manga (which also sucked just as much). Not that I care too much for either Nisio or Gainax, but talking about things you clearly have no idea about makes no sense.
