I haven't been watching as much new anime unfortunately. I re-watched Made in Abyss and am planning to re-watch Kaguya w/ my gf then we can watch the new season together. We just finished re-watching Avatar the last airbender last night.
I'll have to check to see what else is coming out but i didn't finish several shows i was supposed to keep up with. I still need to finish Demonslayer and Attack on Titan >.<
When all the new shows start my lineup will be Demonslayer s2, AoT final season, Takagi-san s3. Then I will pilot Bisque Doll to see if it interests me. Arifureta kinda meh filler show I will watch that later if it gets dubbed in English.
As far as anything else I am open to reccs and will pilot a few other shows if they catch my interest or get hyped.
Hmmmm haven't really watched anything i was that crazy about....Mushoku season 2 was the peak of the season for me.
Then the asssasin isekai was decent...Komi is okay... lol
I think Winter will be better I mean Demon Slayer sequel is amazing already.
You know what there is one show i am behind on that i really like...Ousama Ranking, very highly rated yet i only know about it because of my brother. The ed is also amazing btw
I'll check them out, anyway most of the shows i was looking forward to got delayed. Except for Kaguya which is the clear front runner imo, then i also started Tower of God and Glepinir but that is really it. I've spent a lot more time indoors so i have plenty of time :)
I'm looking forward to Re:Zero and Kaguya-sama for Spring but that's really it. Might watch Kingdom s3 eventually if it gets dubbed but low priority. Don't really know about the other shows, but besides that this year is starting off on a good foot.
So i found a lot of gems from this season. First i just discovered a slice of life mmo adventure called BOFURI. I am having a lot of fun with that one. There is the super perverted comedy Ishuzoku Reviewers. So far those 2 anime are my favorites right now. I found Darwin' Game an edgelord survival action anime. Most people will watch the first episode and be like this is total trash. I on the other hand am having a blast with it! It's just one of those shows i'm excited to watch when a new episode drops. Lastly, the first anime i watched this season was Kyokou Suiri. A Romance anime (my favorite genre) and also supernatural / mystery elements to it. Kind of reminds me of the monogatari series just a little bit.
So those are all the shows i found this year that i actually like watching.
Oh yeah i love Nekopara of course but i'm watching it in dub so i'll be way behind on it. I really like this season, i'm usually very dissapointed and might find 1 or 2 decent shows. Maybe my standards have dropped substantially or something.
Agreed, Ishuzoku Reviewers is the first show i watched this season xD
Oh and it's nice that there is an uncensored version, i hate the censorship in most anime. Like when they censor blood and all kinds of other shit. I think some anime like Gintama censor stuff as a joke which just adds to the comedy. Also a lot of shows you have to wait for blu-ray release to get the uncensored version.
I have never been brave enough to watch live action. I mean I've tried. Death Note looked god awful. Oh and i watched some of the Attack on Titan. That's a live action right? It's not my thing so i just avoid it.
I heard talk about a Cowboy Bebop live action, have you heard about that??
Anyway i just caught up on that show and it's really fun... There is this Gigguk video about the evolution of watching anime, and it's kind of a cycle. I went through a casual phase where i loved everything. Then became super critical and hated all the popular shows like SAO and AOT. Now i just kind of watch whatever and i'm not afraid of dropping things i don't care for. Until last year i would either watch to completion or it would be put on-hold indefinitely. Anyways, in 2019 i went back to the genres i avoided: harem, ecchi, slice of life.
I just watch whatever and i really got hooked on romance anime more than ever before. As i've said many times that genre just keeps leaving me bummed out in the end. So mindless shock factor anime like Darwin's Game is a bit refreshing i suppose.

I guess it's kind of nostalgic, i really liked Mirai Nikki when i was in high school.
