Depends really what you're in the mood for. KWT in the first four volumes really sucks you into the characters lives and you empathise with everyone and feel the anguish. So it's good if you want to feel intensely.
Special A on the other hand has some HIGHlarious artwork and comedic timing (a little fluffy and cliche at times, with a very Full House feel about it, but thats not necessarily a bad thing is it?). So if you'd like some laughs, stick with that.
