Hello and welcome to my profile
My name is Courtney I am 22 years old (turning 23 in may) and I am transgender (MTF) but please do not let that stop you from getting to know me. I am the nicest person around (Well in my opinion lol). I truly don't like seeing people fight, argue, or even upset and will try my best to help out the best I can even though it may not be the best advice in all honesty.
Then a bit more about me is that I absolutely love music I seriously wouldn't know what to do without it. I seriously love music more then anything and will practically listen to pretty much anything. You can say that music is what makes my world go around lol. I also play video games (mostly Xbox) and enjoy watching anime but only watch anime these days when I am extremely bored though lol.
Also a few other things .... more like personal issues though lol.
I have headaches 24/7 every single day actually. Only thing is that the pain doesn't phase me in all honesty. Since I am well you can say used to them lol. Also medicine really doesn't help either it just makes the headaches worst or doesn't do anything at all. Now this has been going on/happening since 2008, after some kind of medical/brain issue I had and even to this day the doctors never figured out what happened to my brain/head lol. So you can see why I would be used to them after all this time lol.
I also have ADHD as well in all honesty and well not really much to say or well can't think of anything to share about it lol. Oh also I cannot stand it being 100% quiet or any form of quiet for that matter, it being quiet drives me crazy and I can't stand it, I need some kind of background noise or noise in general in all honesty.
Anyway that's about it lol, feel free to add me if you want ^^
P.S. I say "in all honesty" a lot and when I actually do write lol i am actually laughing to myself (not joking about this literally laugh to myself lol)

i am not good at thinking positive. lol.
Ah, good to hear that. It would be too big of a task to get things done all by oneself. I can't possibly imagine that going well, but there is no need to worry about a hypothetical situation. Let's hope he somehow manages to get himself into a position where kicking him would be disastrous to the higher ups. That way, they would think twice before making such a decision.
Gaia Online is a big company now, right? However, I am not sure I understand how all of that works. Do you, as member of Gaia Online, know about some of the things that take place "behind the scenes"? I mean, you seem to have quite a lot of knowledge on many of the aspects of the website, its members and employers/employees. I also suppose most people know that and you are not an exception to the rule who knows everything? Well, perhaps you are an important person there. :P
How is that possible? Are there no ways to legally apprehend the last CEO? If it is a business, surely that means it operates according to the law. Don't tell me corruption is part of the world of Gaia Online, too.
I will think about it, but lately, I have been feeling rather tired. I talk to a great deal of people and I do not think I can keep it up at the pace I am going at right now. Chatting with others has become an unpaid job rather than a fun activity. Besides, I expect too much from the people I talk to online. I always long for a genuine friendship, but that is not something that is always available on the internet. People talk to others to have fun, not necessarily to get emotionally involved with them. I need to work on my attitude in that sense. I am a hopeless idealist at times. And my lack of real life friends is affecting me to a considerable extent.
Why is Heaven filled with extremely nice people? What discussions happen in that forum? You probably frequented all those other forums, right? What is the main difference between them and Heaven (excluding the fact that they are meant to focus on completely different topics)? It seems a bit weird that one place is particularly friendly while others range from okay to awful at times.
What means of communication are available on Gaia Online? On CR, there is the guestbook section, personal messages and quoting forum posts. Is Gaia Online similar to Crunchyroll in that regard? Or is there a real time chat that allows people to see each other's messages almost immediately? It's good to see that there is such a big variety of things. Not like you will spend time on every of those forums, but occasional lurking can be used to kill time when one is bored.
Apropos the relationship between the folks on Gaia Online and Lanzer, how do the higher ups on the website communicate with everyone else? Are there mods who monitor the activities of everyone? Are there announcements that highlight important things that are currently occurring? It would be nice if everyone of the higher ups was willing to trust their members. Only if trust comes from both sides can there be a productive co-existence between the creator and the people who enjoy their services.
Does that mean there is no other way to decorate your avatar with fancy stuff? That would be a bit of a disappointment, but I guess it's not the end of the world. Courtney the keyboard warrior. Do those little fingers of yours manage to successfully click your way to victory? ^^
That does make sense. What is the difference between each of those areas where you can go to fight kindreds? Is it just the experience and gold difference that can be found there? For example, in other games you got more than just one area where you can find level 20 mobs. One gets to choose which area to pick. At least that is how it is in MMORPGs. I assume the same would apply to Gaia Online, but I can't tell. And now that you mention gold, how much gold is a lot in the world of Gaia Online? How many people are there that can confidently say they have a lot of gold?
It is unreasonable to complain about the removal of the discounts. It is also fairly obvious that the discounts were meant to allow the previous CEOs to make as much money as possible before the ship called Gaia Online sinks. Fortunately, the ship did not sink, but the prices have to be readjusted in order to repair the damage that has been done. Do those discounts apply to everything (items, real life merchandise, etc.) or just specific things? And how often were those discounts offered before Lanzer returned? In other games, discounts often appear during holidays and on weekends. Not sure how it was on Gaia Online.
Are there any plans that Lanzer has when it comes to dealing with the inflation? Does he want to allow people to buy items with gold, but also keep the real money exchange alive? Also, does he take into consideration the opinions of the members of Gaia Online? People could be thinking that it would be a great idea to buy items with gold again.
What do you mean when you say that completing the story is based on luck? How exactly does a person complete a story? There are probably various different stories with various different items and endings, but an example would be very helpful to make your point clearer here. How do the members of Gaia Online feel about the fact that gold gens are not being sold anymore? Yeah, I have heard that he is being welcomed by most people, but that does not mean that every decision he makes will be seen as good. Besides, there are always going to be people who disagree. Always.
Yeah, it is awful to experience such a thing, especially if the person you met was the one to contact you first. He was the one eager to give this relationship a shot. When did you have to deal with this horrible feeling of accepting the fact that a person does not want to be close to you any longer because of a silly mistake you made or something along those lines? I assume that did not happen only once, but what scenario where this happened do you remember the best?
How do you think a person who suffers from suicidal thoughts on a daily basis feels? Perhaps you have been in such a situation before. Even if not, I figure that you have had to deal with quite a lot of crap. Even if said person does not kill themselves, they will always have to deal with the damage that has been inflicted upon their mind by this constant struggling. Mental scars are more often than not quite visible, to both the victim and the people around them. I just do not see any other alternative to suicide. Of course there is a solution to this problem, but it is not in reach. I do not want to be less happy than the average human being living in a first world country.
So? Why does that matter? If I were to commit suicide, I definitely wouldn't be worried about the things I was "missing out on". Hopes and dreams are for people who enjoy their life. I do not enjoy it. I mean, humans are temporary beings. Caring about the future is not really something we often do. It is the here and now that we focus on. Besides, change is also a factor that needs to be considered. My future self will probably be much more different than I am at the moment. One could argue we are not one person throughout our life.
