Yeah... As for saving it... Honestly, as much as Weebs hate to admit it... It's US companies that will probably save the anime industry... Netlfix particularly...

Yeah I don't agree with this over saturated seasonal industry... And if you think about it it really doesn't work... All the most profitable series are long and dense... Very rarely to quick cash grab series actually succeed in profit margins... Most are only barely, even if, breaking even...

I wish studios would focus on producing less and focusing on quality... Quality > quantity

I think the series could've benefitted from a few more episodes... Not 24 episodes but 11 is too short for a series trying to cover such deep psychological topics with multiple characters...

I quite enjoyed it but I mainly scored it on it's technical merits... I thought it was a very psychologically stimulating and deep series... Shortest way I can put it...

Beh come manga secondo me vale assolutamente la pena di dargli un'occhiata! Poi la Toboso disegna veramente benissimo!
Purtroppo io sono una di quei rompiscatole che "fa fede solo l'originale!", nel bene o nel male, che si tratti di anime tratti da manga o videogiochi, di film tratti da libri ecc. Comincio a pensare che possa essere una patologia ahahah
Comunque, mi incuriosiva il fatto che hai tra gli anime preferiti una serie che non è ancora cominciata! Hai preso il gioco su steam?

Mmm in realtà la prima serie è "finta" per metà! Nel senso che sono episodi che non hanno nulla a che fare con la storia originale scritta da Yana Toboso. Book of Circus invece lo è, e gli eventi della serie sono strettamente collegati con la storia personale di Ciel, che si scopre solo leggendo il manga, e di cui proprio in recenti capitoli si stanno svelando i retroscena (inquietanti, peraltro). Importante sarebbe anche la saga della nave Campania, di cui invece di fare una serie animata hanno fatto solo un film (è il Book of the Atlantic)... Questa serie si sarebbe meritata un bel remake fatto per benino, da capo e come si deve

Ora, io benebene l'ultimo episodio di book of circus non lo ricordo, ma solo il fatto che sia evidente che la prima serie "zoppica" (è riduttivo) perché metà degli episodi sono filler mentre la seconda è piuttosto fedele al manga non giustificano obiettivamente la discrepanza di voti (o semmai il contrario). Kuroshitsuji II faccio finta che non esista nemmeno in partenza.
