Who is the character in your profile picture?

I am taking a funimation fall 2012 survey. ( https://s.zoomerang.com/s/funimationfallsurvey ). There the website if you want to check it out. They ask me why I watched and buy anime. My answer= Why the sky is blue? That is just the way things are. I can say I enjoy the stories or the art or the voices. I like to rewatched it at my leisure and have easy acesss to it. Yet, That does not explain the love for anime I have. So I will stick with this, that just the way things are. Really what answer did the except from an anime lover.
