Hello fellow MAL member! :D
Are you a movie addict or maybe just a casual movie viewer? If films, animated or live-action ones are something you like, have you ever wondered about joining a club where you can discuss about your favorite movies with your friends on MAL?
If the above facts catch your interest, come and joinThe Cinema Club! ;)
I saw that you enjoyed Ludwig Kakumei. Not sure if you're into dark/gothic type of stories by the same mangaka but Hakushaku Cain (The Cain Saga) is pretty good.
If you enjoyed Nodame Cantabile (this one I totally love) then you might like Piano no Mori. The only thing is that the main characters are little kids so it won't necessarily have quite the same feeling as Nodame . . .
Hana Yori Dango is a classic shoujo series that I think that everyone should give a try. It is on the long side so you might think that it starts to "drag" after awhile.
Great Teacher Onizuka I think is a really good/unique shounen series. If you can get past the crazy/stupid teacher and all of the ecchi/perverted stuff, it actually has a pretty good story that gets better as you go along (first couple of volumes are kinda mediocre in my opinion).
If you're into gender benders, you might enjoy Hana-Kimi (it's older but a pretty fun/light read). If you're looking for josei, you might like Honey and Clover (the characters are kinda crazy/weird like Nodame). It's kinda wordy though, LOL.
If you liked Death Note, then you should check out Bakuman by the same mangaka. It's definitely something different but you might like it. It's about 2 guys trying to become mangaka (if you find that sort of stuff interesting).
Banana Fish is a great shoujo action and if you're into some manhwa (with a bit of BL - but nothing hardcore), One Thousand and One Nights is pretty interesting and has nice art too.
I think that's all that I have for now. I'm just trying to give you a good variety, you may or may not like any of those, LOL. But they're all worth a try.
Good luck with your studies then. I remember I had no life going to school too. I often got by on only 2-4 hours of sleep, even during my junior and senior years of high school, haha.
Hey it's ok, don't worry about it. My friend just messaged me back in November as well and I got so busy since the holidays that I totally forgot to message her back until like a few weeks ago when I was looking through my old emails, LOL.
I stopped checking this site for like 1 year (things changed in real life and I stopped buying and reading manga for a whole year). I recently returned back to this website last October to start keeping track of my manga and anime again.
I've been reading lots of manga lately. Some good and some kind of mediocre, haha. Other than that, I'm doing good, how about you?
If you're in the mood for anything specific, I can recommend you some manga to read xD

You are one of the only friends since so long ago that is still active here.
Much love xx
