Hey, I saw your review on toradora and I agree! Its a really magical romance anime that has a special air about it, I can't quite put my finger on it or put it into words. The story is rather generic and can be predictable but you love the dynamic between taiga and ryuji anyways. You don't mind the story being a bit cliche bc what they do with so little is brilliant. As you said, it warms your heart going through the show and when the sad moments hit, they hit hard. Lost My Pieces is a staple in sad anime piano ballads and it always pulls my heartstrings listening to it. While taiga can be annoying, I do think the show characterizes her super well and by the end, you want to protect her. Absolutely the pinnacle of romcoms.
Yo, i've just seen your Hajime no Ippo review and I gotta ask, because i've just recently started reading it and was wondering, when does the story starts to get really repeatable? Cuz i've seen a lot of complaints about it at some point and I wonder how much of those almost 1500 chapters are worth the read.
