right now, trying to catch up on as much of winter 2018 stuff as i can before the new season hits.

i do a lot of independent writing, not for anything in particular. i tend to write more essay-oriented stuff in that regard. nothing i can show off rn unfortunately

I see. In the Dub he says that he's in love with the hope that's inside Hajime. When I played the game for the first time and did his free time events, I could tell, that he wanted affection from Hajime but not that he's gay. Then again, he's a rather complex character.
Yeah I think it's rather one sided but you can always ship it. There's no harm in shipping things as long as it doesn't get cringy as fuck.

also i will admit that i find it funny (though not unfair) that you hate the DR anime series a lot. i actually found that dr3 was a lot more fun in a b-list, c-list way when i watched it with the dub, and it made a lot of it more tolerable and enjoyable for me.

I mean the Brainwash video as plot device was the dumbest shit that they could come up with. It wasn't Junko's masterful manipulation of the mind of every victim, no no no, just 1 video....*sigh*

Yeah, I finished his freetime events first because he was the most interesting. I didn't even knew that his freetime events would be locked if you didn't started his first one.
What's your take on Hajime/Nagitos relationship? Are they just kinda similair but that's it, Kindred spirits, or friends with romantic feelings to each other? And do you think that Nagito is gay?

Forget Mitarai, he was whiny and annoying but....what the fuck was even the point of Tengans plan? The whole Future Arc was a chaotic mess.

It was the most interesting aspect of the game. Nagitos and Hajimes relationship is well written and felt genuine and not forced.

Yeah the whole cast was nice, except for Kazushi, I hated that useless idiot. I hoped for him to die early on. It seems the retarded ones always survive til the end.

The Plot itself was shit though.

I'd pick Hajime/Izuru for the plot twist at the end. Or Nagito. His unpredicable behaviour makes the game very exciting.
