Hardcore anime nerd here! I like to make a conscious decision to avoid becoming weaboo about the hobby but otherwise very open minded. From my passing interest in the medium starting with the intermittent episode of Outlaw Star and DBZ on toonami, The ocassional screening of Vamp Hunter D or GITS on SciFi some ten years ago, to now: complete fandom with relatively ridiculous collection of anime, fansubs and manga. I've come a long way in exploring and enjoying the hobby I gained interest in nearly 7 years ago and I'm on here diving into the tons of anime cataloged on this site.
My tastes lean towards anything with properly developed story with engaging visuals with the occasionally properly executed fan service, of the non-perverse sort of course :P. That said I'll watch anything once. Well...*almost* anything.
