Well it just stops following the manga which let the end completely open. But it is a very unique shonen and i enjoyed the hell out of it. But somewhere after episode 75 a great arc is happening that you might want to see. After that a couple of 3 episode that left the ending open. So it is your call.

Yea well i think a lot of anime need a bit to get in to. For example One piece, when i started watching i was like WTF is this? Then i watch a couple of 15 episodes and i was hooked as with so many.

I actually never understand why so many people watch so many anime at the same time. Ow can you get in to a anime that way?

Well yea also i got my limits. First thing you should know is that most classics ( like 90's) are a bit underrated here on MAL (in my opinion at least) But for the most part the ratings of MAL are pretty solid. I think you like the Kara no Kyoukai movies or maybe Sword of the stranger. I also recommend the specials of Baccano and Durarara. And the evangelion movie you have not seen yet. Personally i would recommend you Tenga toppa guren lagan because it is the very definition of epic. But i would suggest that you fist finish some of your watching list because there are a lot great series on it.

Yea Champloo was great. I like how the managed to get Japanese history style in motion with the hip hop like soundtrack. I also liked the ending very much.

Cowboy bebop, Trigun, and Darker than black. Trigun is so under rated here on MAL.

Just wanted to say i highly respect your favourites. 3 of them i started my anime career with.

Outlaw Star, Chrome Shelled Regios, Rainbow(not action but it might be something you might enjoy) and Tenjou Tenge

It's worth a second shot. I wouldnt expect a kid to like it since there some things you really have to think about

Watch Blue Gender, you wont be dissapointed.
