Oh really? I've yet to read Bakuman. It looks quite interesting. ^.^ But that's pretty cool. I love it when you can relate to an anime. Like, Taiga Aisaka (from Toradora) and I have the same traits and characteristics. Except, I don't really sneak into people's houses and attempt to kill them with a wooden katana... Heh...
Ah, that makes sense. I was considering reading the manga, but I have a tonne of other stuff I'm meant to be reading and watching, so I'mma put it off for a while. ^.^
Yeah, I loved Hellsing. At least, Helling Ultimate. That stuck to the manga, at least. >.>
Hola!! xD...I've watched the second season of Natsume Yuuchinchou.. again.. T-T I made the same mistake of watching the second season instead the first.
Good good. ^.^ Yeah, I prefer slice-of-life over pretty much any other genre. Being able to relate to a series and all. Plus s-o-l is kinda informative and stuff. Like, I've learnt quite a bit about Japanese culture from them. So that's a bonus.
I liked Soul Eater, but the ending was kinda... Abrupt? I dunno. It just felt like they strectched out the anime and then bam. Ended. But it was pretty good. I lol'd every episode. :3 I shee. Well, I shall try to avoid spoilers.
Oh. I didn't know Baccano! has a better rating. Cool. But yeah. Durarara!! was pretty cool, just the ending was... Endingy.
Aha, there aren't really any animes similar to Baccano!. It's pretty unique. Maybe Durarara!!, but that's only because they were written by the same person. But according to Funimation, similar anime are: Eden of the East, Full Metall Achemist, Black Cat and Hellsing Ultimate, as well as Air Gear, Phantom, Speed Grapher and Cowboy Bepop. I've only seen a little bit of the first four series, but they're kinda similar. At least, with the action and all.
Nothing compares with gintama.. :1 ... It's the best comedy I've ever seen in my life. haha well, for me sayonara zetsubou sensei: 8/10 ..
Oh, Baccano... looks interesting. ;D
I think this anime doesn't have a specific story. Just random comedy episodes. Although, It's great .The negative thinking of the zetsubou sensei is funny. ;)
You mean about Sayonara zetsubou sensei, right?or Jigoku shojo? x)
Just something I've noticed....Zan Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei is the third season of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei series.. ;)
I remember that I watched the third season of Jigoku Shoujo ,instead the first. Until now I didn't watch the first season...
Heh, I am just ever so slightly biased. But seriously, ask anyone who's seen both animes. Baccano! totally pwns it. Although, it is mainly those who ssaw Baccano! first who share that opinion. >3>
DRRR!! was a 24 episode anime, and yet the characters seemed unbelievable and undeveloped. Baccano! was only 16 (including 3 OVAs, but they're more like the epilogue to the story), and still the makers managed to make everyone's backgrounds realistic. Kinda. There's a bit of a fantasy element to the anime, but yeah.
And there's a guy who wields a massive monkey wrench and dismantles cars in midair... But, y'know. Mostly realistic characters...They weren't all, "Lol I'm secretly an ex-gang leader *troll face*". They just did back flips on moving trains and caught massive monkey wrenches and through them in the opposite direction without missing a beat. It was momentum, and the guy was strong... It could happen.
Mainly, the characters were somewhat more believable. Yeah.
The story was less all over the place as well. Like, Kido's (he was the blonde guy, yes?) girlfriend just coming into it, and Anri's best friend and her boyfriend. That just seemed kinda random to me. :/
And there's so many references to Baccano! in Durarara!! that it's stupid. Seriously. The Dollars password, billboards, scenes playing on the big TV thingies in the background, the same playing cards. Isaac and Miria even made a cameo in episode 11 or something. Even though there were several other animes that Durarara!! made reference to (Spice and Wolf, Darker than BLACK, Kuroshitsuji II) there was something Baccano! in every episode.
Looking at it critically, Baccano! seriously is one of the best animes, and that's why it bugs me it's not that popular. The anime is kinda confusing, what with the time jumps from 1930 to 1933 and how all the characters connect, but it's actually pretty clever.
I've fallen asleep... watching how Sagara was fighting with the same man four times....lol..
I love comedy ones, Hey try : Detroit metal city, is a funny short anime.. I couldn't stop laughing really.:D
Hee... That was so quickly too.. ;P .. I've just finished watching Full Metal Panic, and I didn't like it. I rated 7/10, cause I'm good person.. lol .. Maybe I don't like mecha. ;( ...xD..
I usually watch anime online but If it has low quality I download it.(:
