Since youre planning Blood Sign, please dont be put off by the first chapters, or the first volume in general, it has a rough start, i loved it, but ive seen more then enough people not like the first volume, it gets alot better from V2 onward, and V5 is a genuine 10/10, all the people ive encouraged to read more after the first volume all came to love it

It's a type of mostly PC game that plays like reading a book, but with visuals and sound added, you click through text to move the dialogue forward, a lot of them feature the ability to choose where the story goes by selecting different dialogue options an getting alternate endings. Some of them are for all-ages, but a lot have 18+ content (sex scenes)

As for where to get them, you can find them on Steam or by pirating them from sites like ErogeDownload, Fuwanovel, or Nicoblog.

There's no anime though, she's a main character from a visual novel I'm playing titled Ever 17.

yes, i'd prefer a LN to stay a LN otherwise it'll be ruined for us because it's impossible to make a perfect adaptation.
but for original anime even if it's not good or cliché i wouldn't complain.

yes that's exactly what i was thinking about, it's like they did it on purpose to save money... that's why the art style from the 2nd is way better than the 1st, because they planned on making the 2nd season the last. but that doesn't matter because reading the LN is much better than watching the adaptation of it.
that's why i prefer original anime... an anime without any source is the best.

it's hard to make a perfect adaptation... but there's always the option of reading the original LN or manga
