I feel like I haven't told you anything about what I've been doing. So like in July I went on holiday to Thailand for 2 weeks with my family, we went to Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Koh Samui. Then when I came back I was chilling with my friends - I chopped down my tree with a hatchet and we had a bonfire. Now I'm looking for new headphones cus my Sony MDR-XB500's broke after like 5 years.

I've actually started an apprenticeship for a year with the City Council - so I've been doing that since September, I may retake some of my A Levels cus they weren't brilliant lol!
Shinobu in the movie and the Monogatari arc, when Araragi goes back in time with Shinobu, is just insanely good; just such a lovable character. I still need to add Hitagi to my favourites list XD lemme have a little juggle with that!

Hmm, recommendations - sadly, nothing has really blown my mind since Re: Zero although that still has some flaws tbh. Have you watched Erased, Haikyuu or One Punch Man, just wanted to know your opinions on them?

I'm up to date with the Monogatari series, just need to watch the movies now - I absolutely love it, the characters are all super cool in their own ways. Whose your favourite character in the series? I think mine is either Hitagi, Koyomi or Suruga.
I find myself enjoying the airing ecchi's more because I know to take it with a pinch of salt, some of the stuff that airs is just trash XD

Bakemonogatari is really unique for me because the dialogue and interaction between the characters are just so unique, I love it - it's really witty and upbeat. But that kind of works against itself, in that sometimes I just don't give a shit about the plot and just want to hear them talking.... in saying that I do like the plot, I just love the conversations more!!

I'm slowly watching less anime now and revising more, so aside from Bakemonogatari - I haven't really watched anything that's not airing.
I've seen a few good films though:
Bakemono no Ko (The Boy and the Beast)
Kokoro ga Sakebitagatterunda. (The Anthem of the Heart)

Thought they were really good watches.

I'm not sure I follow... I mean. 90% of animations come from paper versions anyway... it's not like they change characters or plot anyway unless it's some very rare cases. If you're sick of the cliches you're gonna end up meeting the same stuff in mangas XD
Maybe a few occurrences come more often since they don't have much space to show all the trivial or peculiar events in a 12-24 animation instead of a manga... but still.

What can I say, it's pretty much what happens on MAL every single time since forever.
But hey, from those 200 people you get to know with MAL you end up getting to now around 10 people that will actually leave an impression on you, strong or weak it will be.

I'm kinda fine. I thought it was a good idea to come back a bit to see a few people from the old times.

The most recent example I saw was in Bakemono no Ko and they advertised Starbucks but I think one of the most iconic placements was "MgRonald's" from Hataraku Maou-sama
Yeah, my friend was telling me how far ahead he was with Prison School, so I'm hoping they do a sequel - an OVA is a good sign though, right?

It does actually sound pretty cool - so stuff like brand advertising in games?
I think watch it for the sake of watching it to be honest XD
