Shinsekai yori - my all time favorite so far

Honorable mentions:
Akatsuki no Yona - the music was fucking awesome, pacing was excellent, and good character development.
Scrapped Princess - if it wasn't for the shit ending/last few episodes this would be on my favorites, also the story/writers were a little too ambitious and bit off more than they could chew (like the stupid amnesia plot) not enough main cast ever felt like their lives were in danger, could just say "they'll be fine'. the reason for op-ness of the siblings/guardians is never really explained either.
Cowboy Bebop - episode 9 with the whole cringey "l33t h@kk3r eddddd" nearly pushed me to dropping the show. There was no need for that character. Also too many episodes of episodic filler almost imo.
FMA Brotherhood - has really awkward comedy moments that cringe me sometimes, and too many episodes/story felt like it dragged on at times. Also winry was so useless several times, typical damsel in distress.
Fate Zero - Really did enjoy this anime, but the first episode has deterred so many ppl that I've tried to get into FZ.....it's like a 48 min documentary, too boring for many ppl. Also their is too much talk in the first few fights, making it feel boring on rewatches as well as to casual anime plebs that aren't patient.
Yuyuhakusho - just didn't age as well animation wise, and frankly there was times that I was annoyed (partially with the main heroines, they're annoying).
SukaSuka (shuumatsu blah blah) - their wasn't enough episodes, everything felt rushed, the romance felt really sudden....:/. anime adapation nailed the intro/op on the first episode (Scarborough fair was unexpected):

Katanagatari - too much talking, trolling by the creator (not showing us the hyped fight) and a very bitter ending. Still love the animation, music, and unique character designs.
Haruhi Suzumiya - the movie alone makes it worth sitting through the two seasons (even endless 8), but damn the anime still is great, so much rewatch value. really needed more episodes though, the pacing is too fast.
Alderamin - nobody ever talks about this anime. it's fucking great. fight me. but damn not enough episodes! really loved the character designs and Napoleonic war/franco prussian war/ww1 ish tech.
Paprika is a great movie.
Lain deserves our worship and love.
Senyuu and Senyuu 2 - fucking hilarious anime. Wish it had more episodes and a proper english dub/release.
Youjo Senki - not-german loli fighting ww1-ww1.5. it's really fucking good.
Made in Abyss S2 surpassed the first season and is incredibly good.
Bastard Netflix edition has been fun.
Call of the Night is one of my favorites, incredible animation and lovely art.
