After a little bit of fact-checking, Tokai Teio is, in fact, related to Rudolf, contrary to whatever this guy wrote. Tokai Teio's father is Symboli Rudolf.

Only a passive-aggressive hate monger can possess the audacity to write a scathing (and triggering) review on a show that almost everyone enjoys, yet also the cowardice to post it under a smurf account (without leaving a trace) and jump ship within days of posting, in order to prevent any sort of ridicule and criticism from flying his way. What a pussy.
I absolutely agree with you about Uma Musume S2 - the future of anime is ruined. People see a popular anime funded by a game and go in watching expecting to hate it, and are surprised when their close-mindedness prevents them from enjoying the show they're watching. But enough about that, I want to praise your actual review.
I'm pretty good at suspending disbelief, but Uma Musume is as unrealistic as magic in a dark fantasy world. How would conjuring fireballs from nowhere fit in with our defined laws of physics? How can a show be serious when it has all these whimsical magical elements? An anime like that is definitely poorly written.
I came into a horse girl idol anime expecting realism where it didn't matter and was utterly disappointed. They had to go and make the costumes so appealing with character designs that reflected the personalities of the racehorses they were based on. They even did a standup job on the idol performances. Couldn't the show have been boring and deprived of interesting trivia to satisfy dull people like me?
Not to mention the image training. Teio slowly coming to terms with her declining health? Yeah that's basically a crying dog. I don't even get how athletes would cry over getting their dreams repeatedly crushed and career-ending injuries. It's all melodrama, especially the Rice Shower part which I skipped because I can't handle a story changing perspectives.
Let's pretend there wasn't all the fun costuming and silly genderbending. I agree, the actual race history is still tacky as hell. Following real-life events is actually unrealistic, the main worries of the characters are too reasonable to hold my interest, and the possibility of the expected actually happening doesn't fit my storytelling POV.
When I learned the interactions of the characters were shaped by their pedigree, I realized that fans would go out of their way to learn more about horse lineage, that the show sparked an interest in Japanese horse racing. It's so stupid that people would translate their affection for fictional characters into real ones, unlike me and you who intelligently refuse to care.
Uma Musume S2 will forever be overlooked, its rating won't be artifically held up by bots, which is a shame because this show deserves more criticism from reviewers who completely miss the point of the show. Like you, I hate it when people enjoy anime for reasons I can't understand.
If only you posted more hot takes for me to agree with instead of using a throwaway account for this one review.
