A bit about me...
I don't really have any particular taste; I'll just watch/read what I like. That being said, I am extremely selective regarding which anime/manga I like, and I probably spend more time looking for ones to watch/read, as opposed to actually watching/reading them.
I used to be pretty active in the forums, and I'll get back to it, hopefully...
Check out my anime/manga list if you can... If you feel like I have rated any of them unfairly, I will be happy to explain my reasoning behind rating them. Please do drop any anime/manga you feel like I should check out: i.e. ones you feel I'll like.

I've finished it, actually. I think it's an excellent piece surrealist manga, would love to read more indie works like this. Nishioka Kyoudai produces indie works too, and great ones at that, if you haven't heard of him then I recommend you do. Kani ni Sasowarete was unexpectedly a pleasant read, it's not very philosophically heavy but instead elaborates on daily meanderings and daydreams. Very unique. I'm definitely reading more of panpanya next, her art is cool. Despite it being your earlier review I think it was good :)
We're the same, I spend more time reviewing animanga and MAL and ensuring they'll be worth my time than legitimately reading and watching stuff. Sucks being a meticulous person, it surely backfires.
This quote by Marcus Aurelius, "Never let the future disturb you. You will meet it, if you have to, with the same weapons of reason which today arm you against the present." Along the way it became like a personal motto of mine- I'm a great worrier, so it gave me peace of mind. Another motto that motivated me a lot was "You are what you do, not what you say you do".
I also liked this quote by Marcus Aurelius as well, “All of us are creatures of a day; the rememberer and the remembered alike. All is ephemeral—both memory and the object of memory. The time is at hand when you will have forgotten everything; and the time is at hand when all will have forgotten you. Always reflect that soon you will be no one, and nowhere.” Memento Mori.
What about you, have some favorite quotes yourself?
Your welcome, pleasure is mine :D
Karl Marx, the philosopher...? Are you interested in philosophy and the like? I have several favorite quotes from the stoics, if you'd like to hear them I wouldn't mind humoring you.
Marx and many other philosophers were heavily referenced in Koko wa Ima Kara Rinri Desu, it's a teacher-student manga about ethics. It's not a heavy read at all despite the large amount of philosophy referenced here, so if you haven't i recommend you give it a try
Have a nice day!

OMAR COMIN!!! OMAR COMIN!!
I sometimes forget Elba is British. He pulled of the accent quite well.
That song was... very catchy. Gives me nostaligia for some reason even though I'm Gen Z/Millennial lol
Do you like that music genre? That funky disco tune?
