I started going into the daily thread to have a look since you mentioned it. I might end up posting sometimes, it ain't so bad. The only thing is I'm probably gonna be too lazy to explain why I think any of what I think to anyone who questions it, especially if they are coming from a completely different place and have completely different tastes. But I suppose that should be fine? haha Do you try to convince people or just share your feelings?

Yeah pretty much same. It might even be the worst season I've had for new shows. I'm still waiting to see if Vampire can pull through but not with much hope. It looks like my best new show will be a 6 this season sadly. Sequels and leftovers are helping a bit though. Especially Youkai Gakkou.

Hahaha I'm amazed you don't mind the r/anime crowd honestly. Years ago, when I wanted somewhere to talk about anime, I wrote off r/anime almost immediately, both because they just watch/enjoy completely different things from me that they won't even respond to what I'm talking about, but also because it's too big a space that I felt I couldn't have meaningful conversations. Back in 2016, r/xxanime was more active than now, so that was a great space for me, with mostly ladies, being interested in somewhat similar things to me. Nowadays, I mostly spend my anime chat time on Discord (though still with friends I met through reddit somehow haha.)

Hahah thank you. I saw your comment in the awards thread and I was like I agree with 90% of this and actually remembered that an r/anime friend had pointed out your taste as similar to mine before. Thought that chatting would be fun. Any standouts for you this season?
