Wait, you mean the good one is a sequel to the meh one? le me is sad. Can I just skip the ugly CGI fest, or will it be hard to follow? (apparently there's a SHITLOOOOOAAAAAAD of characters)
Well, I'll take a look at the Inspector, thx, because CGI shall not pass. I'm that special snowflake who hates CGI (except in Black Rock Shooter TV because I'm really a special snowflake :p)
What's the name of that show please? I searched a bit but couldn't find anything. I'm willing to watch it just because it looks silly and kawaii <3 hehe.
The only thing I really liked about that first Rebuild was the incredible art style for the characters. I'm seriously afraid to watch 2.2 and 3.3, they look like a shitfest T__T.
robotical said: Some don't like the settings and fictional politics can be hard to get into. The few mecha things I've seen haven't had as good of characters as I would've liked too. Not everyone likes science fiction either.
I-I don't know what's up with people and mecha. I could understand his argument but he gave NGE a 6 and the first Rebuild a 8... I guess trading character development for 10 minutes of power transformers and trucks made the characters better or something T_T
my favourite work of Stephen King is the book IT. while I hated the movie because the characterization is poorly done and it fails to deliver anything unless you're scared of clowns, the book has a huge amount of impact and it's fabulous as a horror, coming-of-story book. I am not a lot into the Dark Tower series but I enjoy his other works a lot (Lisey's Story, Misery, Shining, IT) which I feel that are books, that despite the horror genre, are quite introspective.
I don't have a problem with any literature as long as it's not overly descriptive (that's why I hated reading Tolkien and I despise portuguese literature in general).
I may read a bit of everything, but my favourite author is Stephen King. I also like to read some philosophy books or allegorical books like the works of Orwell or Huxley.
I also love A Song of Ice and Fire by George Martin. And I have this interest in old fairy tales and classic children's/ adolescent and coming-of-age books.
