To be honest, 5cm Per Second was disappointing to me.
I will admit, it looks absolutely beautiful.
And the first third of the anime is amazing.
But the second and last third, I just didn't like.

Final episodes of season 1 are fantastic. 2nd gig is much different from the first season since it's more about politics. Animation is also better, and characters get developed better. Some of the supporting characters have there own episode about their past which is very interesting.

If you didn't find the first season to be interesting, you'll have to pay much more attention while watching 2nd gig. The plot itself is fantastic but it would be a shame if you don't understand it. Happened to me the first time while watching it.

Nice shirt! I'm glad you liked it. It's one of my favorite movies. Didn't had that much of an impact on me, but I liked the story a lot since it reflected the bond between parent and children very well. The visuals were stunning indeed,

Lol, yeah I rate a lot stricter than most people do. Monster, Mushishi and Aria the Origination are the only anime I consider a true masterpiece and worth giving a 10/10. Of course they aren't flawless, but that's with all anime. I believe the perfect anime does not exist.

Ah, I'm glad. Batou is the man alright, and the major is my favorite female character ever. Smart, fearless, and one heck of a team leader. Of all the characters, she stood out the most for me and got me hooked in watching this series. Her "cool factor" is simply off the scale, lol.

The story is just brilliant, and the final episodes will make your dick hard.
