i am surprised you have so much time for watching shows... i am super busy w/ uni while not even making any progress. (human related issues are difficult for me to process... if i sound like an android thats deliberate. these days i feel really off.)

That's because when Eternia for the PSX was released in the US, its name was changed to 'Tales of Destiny II' for some reason.

So yeah, Rid has absolutely nothing to do with Tales of Destiny or Tales of Destiny 2.

Really, please don't decide that quickly. It's not about having the best technology, but about how to spend your money wisely. Why would you buy an outdated system (which is what the DS will be after the 3DS comes out) - I mean, they don't produce PS2 games now that there's a PS3, right? So aside from older games you won't get to play ANYTHING new, like, say... the Ocarina of Time remake for 3DS.

Trust me, everything the DSi/XXL has, the 3DS will have too, and a lot of additional stuff.

If I was you, I wouldn't get a DSi. Why? Because iirc the 3DS will be released sometime next year, and it's a brand new console and not just an 'update' like the DSi or the DSi XXL, and it supports backwards compatibility with DS games, so buying the DSi is not very clever.

Since we're close to the abiture, you won't get to play THAT many games, will you? Then buying a new DS won't be neccessary, I'd say. I suggest that you wait for the 3DS, but it's up to you.

Wait, are you playing Earthbound 0 (NES) or Earthbound for the SNES? Because I'm currently playing the latter as well lol. Together with Tales of Destiny 2 for the PSP.

Actually, if you're planning to play it on your emulator... Forget it. I tried, it's way too slow. IIRC you even had problems with Phoenix Wright, yes? If your PC can't even handle that, then I'm afraid it's a lost case.
