I was just on the mal stats page for delicious in dungeon when I noticed you dropped it on episode 3.

Considering how you gave it a 7 despite dropping it, I think you should catch up to it, It slowly starts getting momentum, and since the half way point, it almost feels like a completely different show.

At the start it's just a really good and comforting cooking anime with weirdly great world building, but oh boy, it REALLY takes you for a loop.

I mean, you don't have to, it's just a suggestion. But I think you'll really like it by the time you get through the half way point. and it only goes up from there.

specially since you like made in abyss just as much as I do (maybe even a little more). This is the only anime that I know of that has the exact same strengths as made in abyss's world building. It's actually similar in more ways than that, but I don't want to get into spoilers.

I sent it to like 5 people who I thought may like it. I'm sorry to hear you didn't like it. I did check to make you sure no one has dropped it or watched it from the people I was suggesting it to, and you didn't have it in your list. so I assumed you have not seen it.

i guess we have different taste in music then, i actually liked the part 6 openings more than part 4 and 5s....

the last opening of part 4 is perfection, but i wasn't a huge fan of the other 2.

and i will say that the v2 of heaven falling down is easily my favourite v2. i have never been so hype for an opening in my life.

i personally thought, giorno's relation to dio was never even important though. like to me, it was purely there so giorno can technically still be a "jojo". if they dived a bit more into that aspect, i would probably agree with then.

i personally really liked the stand fights of part 6 though. the only fight that went of the deep end imo was that one old man fight. that one just sucks, its probably my least favorite fight in all of jojo.

but i did like the rest of the fights in part 6 a lot. really wish it got the same production that part 3-5 got.

the climax looked very good, but still. i can't say i'm not sad the random episodic segments of part 3 had better animation than the best of part 6.

but hey, at least the music was still great. jolyne's theme is SO GOOD.

no no, i know that, but i had heard that people were very mixed on part 6 even before it got an anime.

I just finished all of jojo's (anime).

what an absolutely amazing series, it is now absolutely one of my all time favourites. I'm a bit weirded out by the fact that apparently part 6 is controversial among the fans?

cause I think it's one of, if not the best part. and it is absolutely my favourite. specially those last like 8 episodes. everything from heavy forecast until the end was just, peak jojo for me. the only thing keeping part 6 down is that it's first and 2nd part had really inconsistent animation. part 3 of part 6 was a lot better in terms of production, but the whole of part 6 was just a step down from parts 3-5.

despite that though, I think quality wise my ranking would be:

part 4 > part 5 = part 6 > part 3 = part 2 > part 1


But personally, I enjoyed them in this order:

part 6 > part 2 > part 4 > part 1 > part 3 > part 5




as far as the jojo's themselves go:

Josepth > Jolyne > Jousuke > Jotaro > Johnathan > Giorno

which funnily enough almost perfectly explains, why my enjoyment of parts is so different from how good I think they are.

I'm only half way through part 3.

It's probably just because I don't have the rest of the parts to compare 1-3 to, but I really liked the start of and end of p1, and I thought part 2 was pretty great from start to finish.

I get what you mean with part 3, but to me since they introduced stands this season, the fights were always interesting. even though having so many of them go well, took away the sense of danger for the most part, just seeing in how many ways a stand fight can go was super entertaining. plus, the animation here was way better than p1 and 2, and the music is as good as always.

honestly this just makes me more excited to watch part 4-6 lol

so far part 2 has been my favorite with josepth being my favorite jojo.

since we have REALLY close taste, I wanted to know what do you dislike about jojo?
