Don't worry dude, if anything I was being too harsh on the show.


I didn't think anyone would read the review, so I was just venting what I felt; it wasn't really a review at all

I agree. It is sad when the creators spoil a good story by diluting the world with a weaker sequel / season. It was pretty obvious to bring the world back which took away from the value of Aincrad in the first place like you say.

What you said is fair enough. I should have gone into more detail, especially regarding the negatives. I personally don't think the second season is that bad, in some respects, yes - such as the story / format is not as complex and is perhaps based too much on the first season, but then to a certain extent a reviewer's points are subjective. Some people (not suggesting you) might be overreacting.

thanks for the advice! I know my reviews were missing the critic point of view, but most of the animes I reviewed on were some of my favorites so it's sorta hard to make it seem bad :/ well, that's just me. I just wanted to spread the word on my favorite animes and recommend them. Anyway, I just joined so I know I'm not that great at giving a good explanation on stuff, but next time i'll do better for my reviews and take what you said into account :)
