Yeah, that was brutal, and the worst part was that Sophie knew that it was her fault and just could watch him get swallowed. Sword are a cool character, finally a guy that pay his respect to the boobs instead of grouping them :P
Yeah, we seem to enjoy the same types of shows so hopefully you will enjoy it too. Opposite to VL, the second half is better than the first, even if the first half isn´t bad at all. Would be fun to here your thoughts about it later :)
Im mainly saving these for the summer as I dont like to go out and so can easily binge watch a season in 1 sitting. Since I got exams coming up I can't really binge or watch much right now.
Yeah same here, I had imagined her brother as the real king, but in the end the only thing that happened was that Sophie tried to kill her brother, failed which lead him to finally get swallowed by King. The end of that. Had the same feeling, they just flew past really fast. And the end battles had nothing on Swords and the Dark Knight´s first real encounter. That was a great fight. The end fights felt a bit rushed, or at least not that impactful as I had expected. The first half had more feeling, but as you say, the second half was good enough.
Sevens is great.
Same here, Vanishing Line was my first too. So, when I had a few days off around easter I binch watched Garo: Honoo No Kokuin. In my opinion, it was better than Vanishing Line, but still made it little easier to understand the latter. It explains the concept of Horrors more in detail, as well as the origin of the Makai knights. But storywise its completely irrelevent to VL. Gave it a solid 8. Great character development, cool fights and and interesting story. I can warmly recommened it. :)
Ah so you watched it too :) As whole I liked it a lot, even if the pace could be on the slow side some times. Are a bit conflicted about the last coulpe of episodes though. The whole Sophies missing brother plot kind of got an anticlimax, and even it sucks that it didn´t get to be Tina and Sword in the end. They deserved a happy ending. And it should´ve been Luke that defeted his father. But I liked that Sophie wanted to become a Makai fighter, that could´ve been a cool second season. How did you like it?
Yeah Fuuka was average but it was somewhat enjoyable at times which is why it wasn't a 5 since that to me is just an average anime but rather a 6 for some things I found interesting. An anime I give a 7 would be a very solid anime but it just lacks a small amount of flaws. For me I felt that it didn't explore as much as I hoped it would have. Along with this I think was mostly determined my final score was also the fact that Yuu didn't like Koyuki in the end, which I know was never going to happen anyways. But I liked those two together much more than Fuuka and Yuu.
thats not an issue you might know more about an anime dat i have already watched so we could simply discuss about ur fav. anime if i ve watched any of em (mine is fairy tail)
