I have been a fan of anime since Pokemon came out when i was about, oh... six or seven years old. My brother and i would get up early every weekday morning to watch it and even on Saturday, too. it wasn't until i watched Sailor Moon in fourth grade that my passion for anime and all things Japanese began to surface. However, it wasn't for another ten years that i had a means to seriously watch anime--when i moved to college and got a laptop. That was when i watched Death Note. and now i am addicted to anime and most/all things Japanese.
So i am in college, a senior to be exact. My degree shall be in Child and Family Studies, and i want to be a Child Life Specialist. I am an avid reader, love to play video games--'The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time' is my all-time favorite--I love 'Lord of the Rings,' 'Harry Potter,' and because of all the avid fangirls, have come to hate the 'Twilight' books.
Other than anime, I love to run; I am just now getting back on the track after a 6-month recovery period from a near-stress fracture. In addition to being obsessed with 'Prince of Tennis,' i also actually do play tennis, and, while I am by no means an expert, I have so much fun while on the court, and my Seigaku boys do nothing but reinforce the love that I have for the game. <3 Seigaku!!

Hey! This is your new admin, sillyker0nian! Giving you the newest newsletter for the RomeoXJuliet Club.
how did you like and why or why not. no reason for asking this just curious about how you feel please respond if you want ok. also if you want to ask me a question look at my anime list and ask about one i am watching or have already seen and ask about if i like one or not if you want.
I think I liked the music of second service more as well (the opening song, Omaera Gakeppuchi Giri Giri is my top favorite song of all of the musiclas... it is so... intense and dark and hot. Omfg. And Niou and Yagyuu are great in their song - they're the most perfect pair in my opinion. <3 It was from watching them that I became inspired to write the Platinum Pair fanfic that I've been working on.
In DL4th, RIkkai does what I consider to be one of my favorite skits ever. And in DL5th, the "Fuurinkazan" dance makes a return and it wins the award for "goofiest dancing ever", but I love every minute of it. And I think I really ended up liking Sanada's actor after watching so much stuff that he was in.
*epic jealously ensures* I want to go to London - ahhhhhh!!!! Have fun though - the trip sounds so wonderful!!
xP That sounds like something that would be funny to hear people singing in real life. Good job Oshitari + Tezuka!
Enjoy, enjoy. Absolute King is really good stuff. Have you seen DL4th? I'm sorry, I don't remember.
Just reading my previous post got the song stuck in my head. How did that happen? Let me know when you've heard it and what you think. My brother and I find it to be one of the silliest things we've ever heard, yet we still enjoy it.
Haha, win for me, right? xD I know I look for the same qualities in a guy, but they don't really exist in the School of Music where I'm at most of the day. So I remain single still, but I've gotten used to it. I'm so busy as it is right now anyway.
I think I would be tempted to try to the same thing to Shirota as well. Can't think of who else I would try that with.... maybe Masa because he has such unique haircuts?
There are subs for both Absolute King First Service and Second Service available + DL4th and DL5th and Progressive Match Higa. Final Match Rikkai First and Second don't have any subs because they've just gotten out recently.
Valentine Kiss will get stuck in your head guaranteed. It's a silly song. Personally, I think Atobe's is the best sung, but Oshitari's is definitely a provocative whisper (good choice of adjective btw!) and Sanada's is just hilarious. Shiraishi sings a version too and I remember it being up there with Atobe's.
Hetalia mostly covers WWII although they refer to some other wars and historical events (WWI, American Revolution, Austrian Succession, how countries formed alliances). The characters reflect what you usually think of when you think of the country... America - thinks he is always the hero, eats a lot, super enthusiastic; England - drinks tea, cooks bad, believes in superstition; Germany - military-intelligent, blond hair and blue eyes; Austria - musician, aristocrat; so on so forth. Quirky humor indeed.
I seriously ROFL'd when I saw 'POUFY HAIR'. I loved how you said that. I think the characters that usually win me over are 1) Immensely talented 2) Hard-working/Determined 3) Powerful 4) Intelligent 5) A Gentlemen 6) Have a slight ego for humorous effect.
That's what I love about Shirota Yuu. I feel the same way about Kane (Sanada) - he's an absolute dork with the brightest smile I've seen (and I love it!) yet his character is disciplined, strict, serious, and intense. He doesn't accept defeat xD
I haven't listened to Kesshou I think. I'll have to check later. I think a lot of the songs I've heard from him, he sings like he is talking with a hot, dark, and inviting tone that I enjoy. His voice is so smooth. Compared to the others where you can tell that they are singing loudly, it seems like he is not quite. I think it's perfectly in character for him to do so and it makes it unique :) I'll have to find the track I'm thinking about...Valentine Kiss is a good example, but there's a few other ones...
Yeah it is a long journal, but it's completely hilarious still. I can just hear Sanada shouting his orders in my head when I read the first paragraph.
I will listen to them later tonight. I had to wait until today to download them (I had to go up to my college to work at the marching band drum line pre-camp and they have wireless internet there).
I'm a bit skeptical of Kuro 2 since I have no idea what it could be about. But I loved Kuroshitsuji so I might as well try it. Hetalia is definitely a mixed review series - either you really like it or you kind of don't care for it. Personally, I enjoyed it quite a bit until it got towards the end. Then it lost some of its humor and became kind of bland for a while. I like it because it makes the small chunks of history it talks about really funny. I kind of wish I saw this when I was still in history class. Plus each country's representation is accurate to its stereotype.
I like high school students the most and I do just fine with middle school. I had to do a semester at an elementary general music class (three hours on one day of the week) and it went okay. I didn't really grow up around little kids so it's really hard for me to sound enthusiastic if they're excited about some strange things. I think it's even rarer to find people that do well with really young kids so I respect you for liking them!
I need to listen to Megane Matsuri again. It is just crazy epic funny.
I liked Tezuka before Shirota Yuu as well. He just increased my liking for him, hehe.
I'll definitely point at Baba for turning my liking for Yagyuu into an obsession. And for Masa for getting me to like Niou who I didn't really notice him when I first watched Rikkai in the anime. Amazing what Tenimyu does to you.
Yes, Oshitari does secretly enjoy all of that. He's awesome - I love him. Even his songs are cool in their own way... he's not really singing, but his voice is great to listen to.
Suwabe + Atobe = Win.
Most of the musicals are on Veoh here. The user only has up through part of DL6th although the later ones aren't subbed. It's ok though - since I know the storyline, it's fine to make it through. No subs from Dream Live concerts are hard though... I want to know what they are saying in their skits!!
So, I know you haven't seen Final Match First (National Tournament vs. Rikkai), but I found this journal entry yesterday that I laughed SO HARD when I read it. Here it is. Enjoy :)
Thanks ^^ I worked hard. Music classes are so tough...
Yeah, I wish I played in high school too. I just didn't have the time with marching band or band in general. College is a bit more free at night.
I ended up choosing Angel Beats, Black Rock Shooter, Uragiri Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru, and Arakawa Under Bridge. I was looking for a Kuroshitsuji 2 image I could use, but I didn't find any I liked. The only one I've seen out of this set is Uragiri (it's an okay show) I've already used Hetalia Axis Powers and Kaichou wa Maid-sama in my last set of cards so I wanted to avoid that this time. Maybe on the next set I'll do some anime from a while ago?
Thanks for the compliment! I've been getting better and better with Photoshop. I'm thinking that I'm going to put up a page with all of the member cards I've made sometime later. And maybe a page with all of the banners I've made for other people just to see what that looks like xD
I've always liked anime Shiraishi's singing voice. It makes me happy when I hear it in "Koi no Gekidasa Ecstasy". Omg, yes - send me the links! I've been waiting to hear those albums. Other than Shiraishi, I like Atobe's, Tezuka's, Oshitari's, Fuji's, Oishi's, and Sanada's singing voices.
I will be student teaching middle school-high school I believe. And probably beginners as well, but I'm not sure if they start band in 5th or 6th grade. We'll see tomorrow. I have to get up at 5am in the morning to drive over an hour and 45 minutes to reach this school. At least when I'm at college, it will be 15 minutes away.
The only thing I've kept watching is Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Hetalia Axis Powers. I just added Kaichou wa Maid sama (the main guy Usui caught my attention) and Uragiri (we'll see how that goes). I would die if I didn't keep up with FMA: B.
^^ You'll find time soon to watch I'm sure.
Yes the Megane's are amazing. They're crazy really. I feel like every talk I listen to, Tezuka's always screaming, Inui is logically reasoning something out, and Oshitari is trying to play it cool like he's the sane one.
Ooo...I'll have to listen to that then. :D
