The 4 key aspects when I rate anime
1. Story - This is why a watch a lot of series with 50+ episodes, I like anime to be a journey which is why I am not a fan of episodic series.
2. Characters - If there is an annoying character that is getting a lot of attention then I may end up dropping the show straight away.
3. Fight/Competition Scenes (not the animation but just the overall hype and intensity behind the moves.)
4. The OP - I only care about the song, not the actual video.

Animation
Not important to me, I wont judge the anime too hard on it unless it gives me a headache.
Art Style
Not a big deal either for me, i'm not an artist but I can appreciate the work that went into making the art which is why even if its not my cup of tea, I wont judge the anime on it.

This is why HxH is a perfect 10 for me.
- Good story, 148 episodes which I never got bored of and had a fulfilling ending which makes you feel like I didn't waste my time.
- There are lots of characters but they all have something interesting about them, I can still remember most of them.
- There are great fight scenes set in a number of places, no fight felt the same.
- Loved the OP, hummed along every time


My favourite thing in anime is seeing the MC surprise people with his power/talent. Seeing characters get amazed at the sudden growth of the MC who was weak or a novice just recently, Sore wa saikōdesu!
