Uh, ¿lo peor?

Ando con ganas de ver lo que ofrece El Dorado y espero cambie mi perspectiva de Frieren, aunque sea un poquito; eso que dijiste me bajó un poco las esperanzas. xD

Sep, realmente es una serie bastante mediocre. No logro verle el atractivo, todo lo que intenta hacer ya se ha hecho antes y mejor; querés emoción? Tienes mejores opciones, querés historias de madurez? Tienes mejores opciones, batallas y acción? MUCHAS mejores opciones. Entonces como que Frieren no tiene identidad alguna creo yo, realmente es mid en todo sentido. Y sí, lo de Himmel es muy verdad, como lo odio xD

Es una obra que pretende emocionar a los espectadores pero la emoción está SÚPER forzada a través de flashbacks, cosas convenientes y frases motivacionales ultra tontas; tampoco ayuda que todos los personajes tengan como expresión literalmente este emoji: 😐

Y el desarrollo de Frieren es muy artificial, básicamente está potenciado a través de conveniencias y recuerdos metidos de repente que rompen completamente el ritmo de las escenas, no es nada natural. Me sigo acordando en una pelea del último arco en el anime que meten un flashback larguísimo y que hace súper obvio que Fern ganará. xdd

¿Te refieres a El Dorado? He visto a muchos Frierenfans hypeando ese arco y no sé si pueda remontar lo que es la mediocridad de la obra. Mary Sue Frieren con los cheatcodes jaksdasjdj

Sí, lo es, me está gustando bastante; se siente muy completo en general. Además es dinámico y los capítulos son cortos (bueno para alguien que apenas lee manga, como yo)

I really appreciate it, everyone was really supportive and kind. I was pretty nervous about the release, as even when proofreading I noticed some mistakes that I fixed last minute. I just wanted to translate the series as Japanese practice. And also, it was really unfortunate to see the scans 1 volume from complete.

I really appreciate you reaching out, I actually did a bunch more research since mentioning it, and I did end up finding the raws for both spinoffs. I don't have an estimate for when I'll be able to start, or release translations, but I'll do my best to do it quickly. One of the spinoffs has like 25+ pages of just essay, which would take me a very long time to get through haha. I may just focus on learning more for now and come back to translate the series in a bit. Once I get around to it though, I'll do my best to release it all at once, rather than one chapter at a time bc I feel like a bulk drop is more fun.
