Thx bro, well I still like their relationship and the animation is surprisingly good, so I would probably keep watching it.

Hey, it’s definitely been a while. How have you been? Considering switching back to watching anime?

I like to put anime I think are under appreciated on my profile favorites, so that’s why I have Evangelion 4.0 in the #1 spot. Because of the 7/8/9 year gap between 3.0 and 4.0, I feel like the movie lost a lot of watchers.

4.0 wasn’t exactly one of my favorite anime movies of all time, but it was so worth the wait. To those very familiar with the franchise, it the movie was super rewarding to watch. No spoilers, but I’m sure most think of 4.0 as the “true ending” of Evangelion. 4.0 surely has its flaws, but it was a very nice conclusion to the series in its entirety. Thinking of watching the Rebuild series anytime soon?

Welcome back! I myself was also a bit busy as the existence of university also consumed much of my time. But that hasn’t stopped me from increasing the size of my anime/manga list.

I definitely recommend the AoT OVAs. They are a great addition to the series, unless you don’t really like the series in general.

Dang I never got into Yu-Gi-Oh as a kid so I never would have never guessed. Yeah, it seems that the more recent works of the Pixiv artist that created your profile picture are completely different now.

Bleach was pretty hard to get through tbh. Out of all the arcs, only a few were really worth watching, filler or canon. I wouldn't say it's worth going through all 366 episodes just so you could be ready for the Final Arc. That said, I'm looking forward to the Final Arc now because I've made it this far--might as well go all the way.

Even after watching 3.0, I remember being utterly confused. So it's probably better if you at least see 2.0 and 3.0 before 3.0+1.0. I get a feeling they're going to try and mess with our heads again in a way similar to End of Evangelion in 3.0+1.0. I'd be very surprised if they didn't.

I hope you're enjoying your rewatch of NGE. I think FMA and FMAB might be a good way to get back into anime again. I personally believe that they are both a little overhyped, but that doesn't mean that they're not top tier.

Btw, I was wondering what/who you set your profile picture as? I like the aesthetic.

Interesting question. I would say that the Rebuild movies are no where near as good as the original series, but they still take the story in a fascinating direction. Rather than serving as recaps, which most people have assumed, the Rebuild movies diverge significantly from the original series around movies 2-3. If you like the original NGE, the Rebuilds are definitely worth the watch.

It's been almost 9 years since the third Rebuild movie was released, so 3.0+1.0 better be good lmao. I expect great things from it. I haven't seen the trailer for 3.0+1.0 yet though because I probably don't remember enough of the first 3 movies to understand it fully. I think I'll rewatch all the movies soon.

Are you planning on watching the Rebuild movies?
