The text is an obvious thing, but I'll spare you the details.
I'd say work on your lighting and colours. To get an okay lighting for your tag, first create a black and white gradient map and put it on luminosity. To make dark spots, create a layer under the gradient layer and set it to darken. Take a black brush and brush in the spots that you want to be darker (adjust the opacity as necessary, and make as many of these layers as needed). For lighter spots, do the same thing, except set it to soft light and use a white brush.
For colouring, you can press cntrl + u on the layer you want to colour. Fiddle around with the hue, saturation and light until you get something you like. Or you could make an adjustment layer called "selective colour" and just play around with that.
I hope that helps. I assumed you use Photoshop, sorry if you use GIMP, I have no idea how to work that. But I'm sure it's something similar to what I just said.
yeah, i made that when i wasn't as interested in graphics... im gonna study computer science though so i will know more about those kind of things soon. Plus I'm not that good at graphics, I just take pics and bgs and slap em together lol
well the only thing that needs fixing is the font, the rest is amazing. Try browsing dafont for a while and seeing what you can come up with. If you'd like i can try to find some that would look good with it.
