Ya I was surprised as well! I took a look at a poll on fullmetal-alchemist.com, about "Do you prefer a continuance or a remake of the Manga?" And almost everyone voted "remake". I blasted them about it... haha.

Hey! So did you see the 1st episode of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood yet? I just watched it. I still don't like the idea of them remaking the story instead of continuing it, but the 1st episode was actually pretty good. And the opening/ending themes are good too!
