Currently my favourite anime

Aria the Origination



Aria is about three girls who are trying to become Prima Undines. It starts of with Akari traveling to mars, living on mars became a reality after they covered the planet to 90% water, and so Neo Venezia was born. During their journey you get to see lots of breathtaking sceneries and stunning friendship. An amazing series which I recommend everyone to watch.

Hellsing Ultimate




Hellsing Ultimate is about a vampire named Alucard. Alucard works for the Hellsing organization, which specializes in killing undead monsters, e.g. Ghouls. This series is not for the faint hearted, there is gore... lots of it, so if you don't like blood, don't watch it. My main reason for liking this series was Alucard and Integra, this is beacuse I really enjoyed their characters, the way they spoke and acted. The overall story was very interesting to watch as well.

One piece




One piece is about a boy named Monkey D. Luffy. Ever since Luffy was a child, he wanted to become a pirate. When he became old enough to travel alone, he set out on a grand adventure. Gold Roger, the pirate king, told the world about his grand treasure, One piece, at his execution. One piece is now the biggest desire upon every pirates' heart, including Luffy. The thing that amazes me about One Piece is the fact that it never becomes boring, every main characters posses something which makes them unique and interesting, not just their personality, but the way they look and fight. One piece is more then just a series, it's a world just waiting to be explored.

Hunter x Hunter_2011




Hunter x Hunter_2011 is a series about Hunters. The main character Gon sets out on a trip from his home island to take on the hunter exam. During the test he meets three people who will prove to be amazing friends during any hardship that he'll meet on his journey. During Gon's adventure he meets many incredible foes and amazing friends which enables him to become the best he can and finally meet his father that which he has admired for a long time.

Gankutsuou




Gankutsuou is an anime about friendship, love and betrayal. When I first started watching it I was put off by the strange artwork, however I soon started to love it, as well as everything else in the series. I cant write too much without spoiling it, but that being said, Gankutsuou is something different from your usual artwork, story and characters and I recommend everyone to watch it.

Berserk




Berserk is a story about guts and his travels to defeat the man who he trusted the most, but then betrayed him. During guts' travels, we get to meet lots of different kinds of people as well as monsters of different sorts. With his trusty sword he manages to kill anything in his way as well as pick up some companions on his way. How will it all end? I recommend this manga to people who like gore, an amazing story and awesome fights, of course some romance is thrown in to complete this amazing journey which you'll never forget.

Gunnm




Gunnm, or battle angle Alita, is a story about a girl reborn into a cyborg. The story is set in the future where people are able to live with cyborg parts and to keep on living as long as their brain remains intact. In the city where everything takes place, two worlds exists, separating the people between elites and cockroaches. During Alita's journey she meets many friends and foes as well as growing stronger during the progress. I recommend this to anyone that likes sci-fi as well as a great story and great action.

Horimiya




Horimiya is about two people who are very different outside of school compared to how they usually are, one being very gloomy and quiet, while the other one is fashionable and popular. They find out the other persons "secret lifestyle" and start to spend time together. Horimiya is a fantastic romance manga with funny comedy and has overall some amazing characters. Recommend this manga to anyone who likes romance and/or comedy.

Sanctuary




Sanctuary is about two people trying to take over Japan through two routes, one through the political world, and one through the world of Yakuza. During the story of these two people trying to achieve their Sanctuary, we bare witness to their strategies and stories of their past as they move up the ladder of power in their respective fields. I recommend this manga to most people as it's really interesting in terms of action, story and overall characters presented.

Otoyomegatari




Otoyomegatari is a story about multiple different women being married into other families during former years, located in central Asia near Persia, Russia and Turkey. As we follow the story of these women, we get to see the daily lives of families as they were for people of that time period. Everything about this manga was lovely and I recommend this to anyone that loves beautiful scenery, lovely characters and daily life activities.
