Yes, I'm new to manga & have just recently realized that the manga is usually better than the anime. It's more fun & slightly more detailed. Seems the anime is mostly filler in between major plot points. The first season of VK seemed to take too long to carry things out. When I read the manga the story progressed at a good pace for me.

& thank you, I'm sure I will enjoy VKG :D

I like your review of VKG. I have yet to watch it but just recently finished the VK 1st Season.

Imo, the manga was better than the animated series by a long shot.
