I also re-read visual novels after years break. For example ; I reread 'kara no shoujo' arguably my favorite VN, and I got sooo diffrent feeling after playing it again 5 years later. Dialogues, opinions, motives, feelings... everything. It felt like I read something competely diffrent. Seriously I even got emotional again even though I knew scene was coming. Honestly if you can I want you to read that VN if possible. I can understand that feeling, because we'll get diffrent feelings, but no matter how many animes ive rewatched, my favorite characters/animes never changed :D Moreover, I loved/adored them more.
Weirdingly, I havent watched any of your dropped mentions, so theres 2 outcomes,
1) theyr not so interesting because I didnt watch them
2) our tastes are completely diffrent :D
I dont even check MAL score 7 and below, then I check 'member number' although its not significant, and lastly, I check the description(if its cliche or not) There are also some traps... some animes are really overrated by MAL community, or I am just getting too old x.x
Inuyasha is very slow paced but good anime overall, it should be best watched 4-5 episodes a week... because it will get boring(it feels like repetitive)... kikyou is my favorite character there, and her theme... is just awesome.

Not everyone likes playing VN's so I guess they wanted some middle ground for people like that. But we should know that VN's have real stories, most detalied as well. Honestly, when I was reading the manga, I was expecting twisted shocking ending, but it didnt happen, happy end again lol.
I never relied on apps, or any kind of electronics when I'm learning a new language, its not my style at all. I just practiced while wiring them by myself over 100 times, it really works... and to be honest it was quite fun. Trying to write a sentence with hiragana/katakana felt like a puzzle game hahaha.

help? haha, well umm... how am I supposed to help you? Although I can understand what you mean(is this what you mean by help?) having so much to watch, so much hype, but still cant watch anything. or do you want me to motivate you?
lets see, it is actually true that boring episodes/stories might be waste of time. but there is still low possiblity of story being 'awesome'... I mean, some stories have really slow start, but when it builds up, it becomes awesome. just let me know the things youve dropped so I can give my thoughts if I watched them before :D
I am currently rewatching my old favorites. For example 'Knights of Sidonia', its a 3d anime style with mecha, space anime... yeah weird I know :p

Oh, I also read about the manga, and... I guess okabe saved them after daru made the time machine after 15 years, then after okabe saved mayuri, she was also shifted to steins:gate world line (we can see it at the ending pages). I'm dissappointed about how short it was and they didnt include awesome Steins Gate 0 plot! Even Daru let Suzuha use time machine without question, Beta Daru(steins gate 0) would never let Suzuha use it. Since its Mayuri's perspective, I woulda loved to see her finding out how he got 'Kyouma' personality (Kurisu gave Okabe the power to move on and he was able to console Mayuri with Kyouma personality) Seriously it was so short! damn im mad! grrr
Anyways, I actually memorized hiragana/katakana by drawing big tables of them in front of my bed(it nearly covered the whole wall in the room), to read/memorize them whenever I wake up/go back to sleep, it helped me alot :D At the beginning though, even if you memoriez, its too easy to forget, so I suggest re-reading everything for at least 2 months.

the thing is , im not feeling attached to any kind of characters at the moment. not even cosplaying. I do not have the enthusiasm. but if I find awesome anime like 'Shiki' again, i might try :D you seem to have lotsa free time, damn im jealous haha.

practice? I suggest anime anime anime, thousands of anime episodes. When I took the course, it was that knowledge that let me instantly start intermediate level instead of beginner :p What are you currently doing for its study?

hmm, I think people misunderstand the wording between 'like' and 'interested'. I dont know what happened after but if he liked anime, he would continue S:G no matter how much time has passed. I even continue animes after few months and such. Although I cannot blame how busy life might be, I use it excuse for not watching anime for a month XD Been watching something theese days?

If you are interested in Japaneese and also wanna learn it (as a hobby) you should start learning it! language is only learned when you dont have ulterior motives in my opinion. Lotsa friends of mine try to learn Spanish,Chineese,Russian and such but fail and ask me how I learned japaneese, I only answer them like, 'only if you like the language as hobby, you can learn it'.

Hmm I also read something on reddit, what saving meant there. Since there was not enough fuel for time skip, it is said that Mayuri/Suzuha were actually trapped in time, in 4th dimension. Okabe is trying to find them while travelling between time. The reason the save took this long (like he couldve done it before video to himself) is because Daru might be working on a solution where he could observe the 4th dimention while time travelling so he can search for Suzuha/Mayuri. If this is the case, they are not safe beacuse they arent in any kind of timeline. What do you think about this one?

haha if you are talking about your profile picture, I would be interested as well! you even got the hat right(except it was more... fluffy originally) Thats how cosplay should be! (not like mine *sob*) Have you cosplayed as other characters? Theres also not much people who even knows what anime is, prejudging that theyr childish cartoons and such. But once I convinced my closes friend to watch it and he deeply enjoyed it, until around episode 18ish where Suzuha's main identity revealed. He was like 'damnit this is so cliche, where is the mystery I love'. He also stated that the ending is too cliche happy ending... I wanna tell him the Steins:Gate 0's story lol.
I actually didnt like Maho at the beginning, thought that she was the filler character, but after her story (Salieri/Mozart thingy) and her role in the SG0 story, I actually felt like shes one of the main protagonists, also her character fit Okabe as well. Maho and Kurisu were soo similiar. (except the tsundere level lol Christina haha)
Thats what I do. I sometimes finish 12 episode series in 1-day. sometimes I dont watch anime for a week. Since I hate waiting for 1 week each episode, I usually finish wait for it to finish, unlike most MAL users... although I think they are true anime fans... and I am not. I took japaneese course for a year and supposed to go to japan for a month as the second part of the education, but I couldnt go because I was struggling with my university x.x

okay, I understand what you mean but I still couldnt get the main answer I want (sorry if I couldnt explain properly). Its also explained in the game that, if Okabe reacher SG line Kagari might dissappear, some characters will also dissappear , and the events of Suzuha/Kagari wont happen because timeline has changed. So if they reached the SG line, why bother saving them? Didnt they also get affected by world-line changes so they even didnt happen at all? or is there something I dont understand here? x.x

Given the nature of 'lots' of Kurisu fans(including me) , I think the producers will much time to Kagari/Asmodeus so Mayuri as well. I always questioned Mayuri's actions in the main timeline and even she made me believe that she doesnt have feelings for Okabe at all. She is definetly connected to Okabe, when you play the game and return to other timeline, the happy Mayuri's character change because Okabe's become depressed(he couldnt save Kurisu), even if she doesnt know, her personality changes, I liked that part. How long youve been in anime world?
other time machine? what do you mean? you mean Kagari when she escaped before Professor attacked? is there a reason for that? Since okabe will change the timeline and she wont suffer from any of those things... so does her fate, so why? I might be too stupid to understand that part.

thats really good. with same clothes? hat? black long socks? with that light blue dres? mayushii amazed-desu. The game me really feel like Kagari is actually Kurisu after all, thats why Mayuri specially adopted her and such, I was waiting some backstory.. I was dissappointed a bit regarding that :D
I really didnt like the fact that she was sooo motherly in the anime , wanted her to fight for Kyouma in the original anime series, or some action, at least we got that in Steins;Gate 0. I'm curious though, what happened in the end? Since they confirmed that Okabe wont die, where did he go after leaving that video message?
