I already thank you for the answer, even if it's been a while since you've done the Review. Thanks and maybe take a look at the movie, as you praised the visual splendor, it caught my attention more.


Now about works in general, I noticed that you don't see so many current things, what happened? Some prejudice, or it just doesn't catch your attention...

Well, if it makes you feel any better about your chronological anime watch order, the original doujinshis ran in the late 90s, so you could watch them at any time (if you feel that committed to the watch order, that is).

Anyway, whenever you get around to it, I'd like to here what you though of them.

I think it has some thought put into it. Based on the bios of the characters, it might be worth looking into. It seems like a slower series, but I generally appreciate that kind of pacing more. The animation is above average (as you might expect with studio Sunrise), and the characters themselves seem like they have some nuance, the main in particular. I like the character design of the main too.

I'll probably get back to it today for a couple episodes.

Another series I'd recommend is Kara no Kyoukai, which is an adaptation of Kinoko Nasu's (author of the Fate/ and Tsukihime franchises) first work. It's a pretty cool amalgamation of urban horror fantasy, magic, mystery, and many psychological concepts thrown into one anthology series. I really love it, and while it does have some issues (mainly consisting of the depth it goes into with some of these concepts, the fact it kept the wordiness of the light novel it was adapted from, and how coincidental/forced some of the writing was) I think it is worth watching. It's a little more than 11 hours long, but the movies are just about the best length to consume and digest them in a day each.

Started a series call Witch Hunter Robin, and I noticed you have it in your PTW, and it's on the current year of your chronological viewing order. Just wondering if you'd watch it, because it's not very popular and it seems most people I know aren't really for something a little slower.
