about the chainsaw man review i don't think any studio can translate CSM art into animation, so they choose to do a more realistic/cinematic approach and i honestly liked it, i think fujimoto also loved the cinematic approach.
i hated that they downplayed some parts like the future devil saying "because your future will fucking rock" instead of "I feel like seeing your future with my own eyes. Because in the future, You're going to die in the worst possible way!" and denji saying "did i lose not just my organ heart muy my human heart too?" it definetly felt more impactful in the manga, crunchyroll also butchered the translations, i watched it in spanish and english and they both sucked.

I think they destroyed some iconic panels: Aki watching his house getting destroyed by the gun devil in the manga was slow and detailed, they also cut out the gun devil part USA 124 seconds 548,012 deaths, China 37 seconds 316,392 deaths etc.. I think that made it more terrifying in the manga because in the span of 5 minutes he teleported to all parts of the world and killed 1.2 million, it's like nowhere is safe.

other panels that they butchered: Makima on the train, denji and power sitting on the train, devil curse killing the katana man in cgi (a freeze frame would have been better), aki killing the ghost devil, and they CUT the panel of denji killing the eternity devil, they showed a cgi animation from the back with no details :( (if you wanna check it is on chapter 19 almost at the end)

Even with all of that i think no other studio would have done a better job with the anime, i hope they religiously keep the iconic panels 1:1 in season 2.
the manga is a 10, the anime is like a 7, 8 because of the anime only stuff (denji vs katana devil and leech devil extended fight) and i loved all the endings and the opening lol
