Hello there! My name is Yasmin and I'm a 24 year old university student from Germany I like anime, video games, music, books, coffee, rainy days and sleeping in~ Hunter x Hunter is my favorite anime and Haikyuu is the love of my life My favorite games are Breath of the Wild, OMORI, Persona 5 and Nier: Automata
♡ Feel free to send me a friend request, I love talking to new people ♡
Sorry for the super late reply, the ending to v3 was kinda just insulting to me but it was actually kinda genius to me. Especially with the Kaede and Shuichi tapes.
I hate Komeada, but the danganronpa 2 cast has some of the most memorable cast, also i just love all the interactions and murder cases!
2, had the best characters and some of the more creative murders imo! What about you?
I'll only accept your friend request if we talk for at least a bit more
I see where you're coming from. I didn't know anything about the series I had only downloaded the series and I loved the calmness among other things. Have you ever thought about reading the novel?
Thanks for accepting the request :D
I love Reigen he was definitely my favourite part of the anime.
Oreki Houtarou is a good fave to have as well I love Hyouka.
Ahahah, I know he's the worst (especially in the theories going around about the kind of abuse he subjected Hanako-kun to) but... I mean... I can't hate a character that looks exactly like a character that I love! Plus, he has cat teeth!
i mean most the people i know irl and even my brother are pretty much as normie as they come as well but i guess the fact that you're a girl is a pretty big difference yeah. I don't remember playing yu gi oh against any girls thinking back on it. I don't even really get along with my bro that well but he's still the main person that got me into anime related stuff ironically enough
Hello there!!
When I saw Killua as your profile pic and Hanako-kun in your profile I had to add you :D
Those are two of my fav characters as well, along with Shigeo!
How can you despise Tsukasa?! Haven't you ever heard him saying "Kushaaate!" or "Amane, amane"? :p
Anyway, thank you for accepting my request. Also, I noticed you liked Kimi no na wa, so you might like Tenki no ko (Weathering with You), Makoto Shinkai's latest film! I really liked it.
lol yeah i know i grew up with that and dragon ball z I haven't watched naruto since i was a child but i enjoyed it up till a certain point back then. I mean where i am at least watching anime was the cool thing to do as a kid. Would always go around the estate challenging random kids to games of yu gi oh and most other kids would have cards as well lol. Plus my brother is like the stereotypical tattoo piercing cool guy and he was like the biggest dbz stan so i guess it just depends on where you are
even in the first 24 episodes of naruto you have some personality for naruto established naruto sucks but at least he has SOME personality to him, you have zabuza and haku i think their names were that were pretty good villains and well written villains and you had sasukes backstory and shit is teased which was also pretty interesting and sasuke is also one of the most well written in the series even if his likability is questionable plus kakashi is basically the same character as gojou . So even going off the first 24 episodes alone naruto still wins in terms of characters plus there's also a lot of other shounens that did it a lot better than naruto I'm just using narutos to compare to help highlight how poor jjks is.
I mean i would rather watch jjk than eva I'm not saying jjk is beneath any of them it has a lot of strengths but the flaws it does have really stand out to me at least
I did too i just figured I'd point out it's flaws since nobody else seems to be doing it i did give the show an 8 after all lol
yeah it's just hard to really find a shonen where the characters feel real so i just went to that. if you're talking about shounens that have better characters just generally then i feel like even naruto has better characters though jjk is still the better show overall
eh there's a difference between characters just being a blob of nothing and them being real like again the main character isn't real he's just devoid of anything. Some of the characters are cool like again the school shooter kid or the blond teacher with the goggles ( i'm terrible with names as you can tell) but to compare just so you know what i mean an anime where the characters feel real would be something like evangelion or maybe even some of the characters in the fate series ik they aren't shounen but the point still stands.
The world building is straight up pretty bad so far and i don't really see using the whole "eh you've seen shonen before you know how it works" as an excuse for one aspect of it being bad though i do see where you're coming from with it
what are the usual problems you have with the genre?
It is good it reminds me of watching naruto when i was a kid the animation, fight scenes and certain arcs are interesting. I really liked the arc with the school shooter kid that loved movies whatever his name was he was like one of the only characters with any actual depth to him
what i mean when i call it hollow is that there isn't really all that much to the world or most the characters like the main character is a pretty good example i feel like he has literally no personality whatsoever
