Thanks. I don't think that was a good review, but thanks for the compliment. Yeah, I don't really remember what I wrote in the review, but I'm probably wrong. I think that Index is a really great show for people who haven't watched a lot of anime, but at the stage I'm at, I can honestly say that it's a mediocre anime at best. Season 1 of index was one of the first few anime I watched, so that's probably why I loved it so much. By the time season 2 rolled around, I had seen so much more anime, and my opinion definitely changed. Season 2 seemed boring in comparison to season 1. There was a lot of technical details that put you to sleep on top of being loaded with fanservice to keep up with the current popularity. (I think Index is better with less service). I'm still continuing to enjoy Railgun, however. Railgun is completely in the science realm, so there's a limit to what they can do. It's cry structured and follows the rules. Plus, I love watching cute girls doing cute things. On the other hand, when you throw magic into the mix, which has no limits since it's founded from religion, which of course deals with God, you have a jumble of different things magic can do based on its religion alone. The formula has been all too familiar for every arc. Bad guy appears and Touma punches them in the face while saying something "cool." It worked when I was in 8th grade, but it's not working now when I'm in college. Perhaps in addition to everything I've seen, I've also gained maturity. A maturity that shapes my tastes in anime.
