OUTDATED AND INCOMPLETE ABOUT ME PUT ON HIATUS.
Moving all text on Anime List Tags to Comments. If anyone wants to add me to Friends I would be more than happy to for the sake of knowing about other anime fans.
(DRAFT)
With so many works of fiction that has, is and will be published in the world, our free times limited, the many activities available to do in our lives and entertainment mainly targeting the largest demographic of the world; the masses, I've come to adopt a mindset composed mainly of two divisions that applies to this topic.
The first is that most THINGS COME and GO; in many cases they never had a purpose to do any outstanding good. They may however been able to satisfy one for the time being but overall it did not benefit the consumer in the long run. In other words I believe in Sturgeon's Law in most contexts, what that is in short is "90% of everything is crap" because it doesn't do anything (but consume time).
The other is that being a consumer of ENTERTAINMENT whether it be playing video games, watching TV (shows) and movies, listening to music, etc. basically POP CULTURE are NOT HOBBIES. I know that may not exactly sound definition but when I think of a hobby it tends to be something that can possibly be a skill that requires practice and talent. So to contrast the examples above creating: video games (design and programming), video (cinematography, video editing, animation) and music (playing musical instruments / singing and composing) all take time to develop when seeking to produce higher quality.

Concerning anime only except ALL or NOTHING
Verdicts are ALL or NOTHING. Does not exactly mean Recommended or Not Recommended. RATING MAY CHANGE AS DOES ONES OPINION ON A SUBJECT.
If an entry is scored by me there is different meaning depending on status which is listed here:
Watching: How much I am enjoying it so far and expectation as going further.
Completed: What I thought of it as a whole at the time I watched.
On-Hold: Similar to Watching but reason for being on this status is because priority, consumption method complications, or might not be liking it so much at the same time not sure to completely drop it.
Dropped: What I thought about what I consumed so far and at the time. Also compared to On-Hold, this status means either it is confirmed I will never go back to or there is a much lesser chance I will go back to.
Plan to Watch: Expectation and/or predicted score after consumption.
Criteria with attributes sorted by priority which are significant to determining number based on efficiency/execution, most are present in all works. Because this is animation you can pretty much apply it to non-Japanese animation including children's and adult cartoons.
LOW:
-Animation quality
-Audio. Note that OST album and tracks can be separate works to critique.
-Voice acting
-Character Models
-Continuity perfection such as an times and as real world authenticity, matters more in some contexts
MEDIUM:
-Plot
-Character realism including imperfection
-Character development; not as important with characters who are fully mature
-Fictional mechanics relative to the real world If Applicable
-Genre
-Hidden messages and themes
-Use of cliches
HIGH:
-Purpose of existence ; Direct message to audience, "Why does this exist?", "Why should this be watched?", "What did I get out of it?"
-Time consumption relative to complexity
-Fictional supernatural mechanics If Applicable
-Demographic + its relevance with genre
-Prophetic fulfillment and/or accuracy If Applicable and bonus if author guessed by analysis of times (such as Fahrenheit 451 and Terminator [commentary on human over dependence on technology?])
-Subplot significance
VARIES:
-Aging
-Time consumption relative to demographic
-Historical accuracy If Applicable. Note that getting this part wrong can make the work offensive such as the movie 300.
-Use of Point of View
-Choice of Words
DAMAGING including but not limited to:
-False teachings and misinformation (Next bullet related)
-False portrayal of realism / Unrealism in a realistic world especially if significant. (Examples: Live action movies with suppressed guns that go too silent [Small calibers like .22LR exempt])
-Emotional manipulation such as the like of making us care for characters who do not deserve it e.g. calling evil good and vice versa or a character crying like a b*%^h when no one would (like Clannad Fuko arc).
-Placement of boring insignificant real world social commentary that has nothing/too little to do with the story (like Attack on Titan) to a point that it may be propaganda. Worst offenders are the literal non-humans who have super powers that make them too powerful and no real world equivalent (like in Pom Poko and Rosario + Vampire)
-Omission of things that should have been present, mentioned or portrayed (like Hetalia: Axis Powers not showing their true aggression to the Allied Powers and excluded entirely Allied non-powers whom they did much harm to as well.)
-Unnecessary time additions e.g. filler episodes and stuff that didn't need to be included
-Real world controversy if reason is deserving such as Disney claiming Lion King was original when it took from Kimba the White Lion.

What do my ratings mean?
If completed usually:
High ALLs. (5 out of 5 Stars)
-10. Best of the best fiction I have ever known and should not go out of print as it is worthy of being passed down / preserved in the future. Is good in quality and message.
-9.
Low ALLs (4 out of 5 Stars)
-8.
-7. Barely passes from being a NOTHING.
High NOTHINGs (3 out of 5 Stars) Everything 6 and above would probably be in my "100 Works of Entertainment One Should Ever Consume"
-6. Falls short of being an ALL but still highly recommended by me if you are interested.
-5. With some that rank here and above I would consider purchasing a copy of the series as a way to support it.
Medium NOTHINGs (2 out of 5 Stars)
-4. Did a decent job enough for me to say watch once. Overall work may not be good but has a good aspect such as a character or unique concept.
-3. I feel like some that rank here should also not be watched even once but if so only if you want to be entertained briefly.
Low NOTHINGs (1 out of 5 Stars. Stop saying 0 out of 5 Stars! We do not need to know how you want the push the limit of hating something, it is not like everything is Facebook where there is no Thumbs Down.) CONSIDER EVERYTHING THAT RANKS HERE IN ANY MEDIUM AS A WARNING EVEN IF NOT SCORED BY ME.
-2. Still is not recommended to watch even once but should you consider watching anything with the rating 1 or 2 do 2. Has similar problems to 1 but less bad
-1. Has nothing worthy in it to consider watching even once or recommending to anyone in any age group as there are just too many negatives including but not limited to: bad plot quality, excessive filler and pointless episodes, bad unrealistic mechanics, use of cliches in meaningless ways, entire cast meaningless/bad characters one or no exception or maybe it turns out to be offensive with no regard to the other sides point of view.
Information put on Tags: Only on what I find necessary especially for minors.
- Demographic (FOR); including age and maturity level, reason and considerations to watch. Some assumed especially Dropped and Plan to Watch.
- ADVISORY; levels of violence, sexual, verbal.
- Offensive if applicable
- Message in Comments if applicable
I almost want to add another fixed Tag: Demon Possession to checklist which Anime did have it but keep in mind that there really isn't a solid definition of it kind of like magic and sorcery in the real world.
