Haha I'm the opposite I am constantly looking at animation, style, and character design, it can make a series a hit or miss for me even x3

Unfortunately, I haven't seen KLK yet but I have seen several videos of KLK and Kiznaiver seemed much "crisper" and clean than KLK. I loved Kiznaiver and in my opinion the animation and art style was definitly a 10. One I watch KLK series I will let you know my final verdict. ;D

Yo, do you have a Skype or something? It'd be great to talk to you again.

First of all I can't believe you actually took the time to do this but my point still stands nevertheless. I still feel that while I will acknowledge that there are small differences as you've pointed out they still end up looking incredibly similar to me. I don't know maybe it's just a matter of opinion but they still look similar enough that I can't help but notice.
stomfh Jun 15, 2016 1:57 PM
On your first point I know because that just simply isn't the way this message is portrayed in the bit of the show that I've watched. On your second point how the hell can you possibly tell me you don't see the similarities between this show's art style and Kill la kill's! I'm constantly hearing the two compared to each other even though they have nothing in common aside from coming from the same studio and sharing a similar art style, so much so that I've even started hearing people try to claim that they take place in the same universe (which would be absolutely retarded if they actually did). On your third point it matters because I don't give a fuck about any of these characters or what happens to them because I just don't care about these people at all. When they're put into these dramatic situations I can't get invested in any of this drama because I don't care about these characters. Again this was mostly just meant as my first impressions of this show; I'd go more in depth (and I do intend to) but that's hard to do through text alone. Eventually I might end up watching it again and when that time comes I'll see if my opinion has changed any but for right now I really don't feel like watching this show or even wasting my time with it. I get that you might not agree with my opinion but that doesn't make my opinion any less valid. Like I said in the review maybe I'm wrong, maybe there's something there that I'm missing but for right now this is just my honest opinion on these first few episodes and I'm really sick and tired of hearing everyone praise this show all the time.

The people I know who like psychological anime liked .hack//sign, although it wasn't anyone's favorite. From what I heard, it sounded like a "mature sword art online", I'm gonna check it some time.

I think that slow pacing an anime can only be justified with character development and adding details for people who are watching it again, like Steins Gate did, and I found it wonderful.

Thanks for the compliment!

I like psychological anime too, it's my favorite genre, when I can understand what's going on, of course.

I'm kind of a veteran too, I started working recently and I don't have much time to watch anime anymore. In fact, I'm only playing yugioh during my free time.

A lot of people recommended hack.sign to me, why is it your favorite?

Hello again, I'm glad you accepted me, hope we get along!
Let me ask some questions to know you better, feel free to ask questions too.

1- What's your favorite anime genre? Why?

2-What's your favorite anime? Why?

3- I took a look on the animes you're currently watching. From those I have dropped Black Rock Shooter on episode 4 due to the fact that the story is very boring and the characters don't make much sense. The animation of the "Dream World" was very good and colorful, but wasn't enough to keep me watching. I also have watched Ping Pong the animation, which I found very good, with very well developed characters, from the quiet Tsukimoto to the outgoing Peko. What are you thinking of those anime for now?

Hello! I'm new to this site and I'm trying to make friends by randomly adding people. I met you because of your review of Aru Tabibito no Nikki, I'm actually trying to write reviews myself, and I'd be happy to chat with you about writing and rating anime. I'm brazillian and I'm trying to improve my English, so please let me know if I'm messing up with the grammar.
Hope you accept me!!

[b]☆Cute/Cool People☆ Newsletter: First Edition

[spoiler]
Ah, hello. This is the first edition of the Cute/Cool people newsletter. To counter the significant amount of inactivity we have (despite having 200+ members at the moment), we have made a few changes to the club these past two-three months, including more opportunities to do stuff here at the club.

First and foremost, we added a welcoming thread so new members can introduce themselves and meet new friends. The link to the thread can be found here. ^_^

Secondly, we added the chance for affiliation. Anyone who wants to affiliate can request in the club comments or PM an affiliation moderator. Thirdly, more game and misc threads have been opened, and more are (hopefully) on the horizon. If you would like to see the open game and misc threads, check the club description, the threads, or here in the newsletter.

Lastly, and this a big change, we are NOW HIRING. The club has opened a staff recruitment thread so we can get more activity and more available stuff and cards going. There are many spots open at the moment, so if you are interested, please sign up here. TO ALL CURRENT STAFF: A Staff Room will be open soon. Link to it is here.

I plan on slowing down with finding new/currently airing shows and finish what I have to watch from old shows, it's been a while since a really good show started airing. This season is definitely more promising than the previous though.

One arc doesn't deem the whole story awful, Hunter x Hunter to me is the most enjoyable shounen out there. I'm really glad they dubbed the 1999 version for us when we were kids.
I'm not there yet but the Chimera Ant arc is one of the most hyped ones according what I've heard from most people who watched it. I don't know if that's the deal with that arc, but I heard HxH becomes "darker" later on in the same sense shounens like Deadman Wonderland try to be which ruins it for some people.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
