Okay I know I have a weird scoring system but hey-ho.
I have a superficial memory when it comes to anime and manga therefore I score:
10 - if I remember the names of most of the characters and the plot. Also the overall anime/ manga must make a great impression on me and must move me. The anime/manga also needs to help me learn something new or needs to make me want to learn something new: e.g. Chihayafuru-> karuta, 3-gatsu no Lion - shiogi, Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu - rakugo, Versailles no Bara- French revolution. For Shinsekai Yori and Ergo Proxy the worldbuilding was amazing. For Kotonoha no Niwa it was the art that made me give it a ten. Loveless is the oddball from my 10 score list. Normally by definition Loveless shouldn't have even received a 7, however here I am remembering Ritsuka and Soubi and that bastard Seimei plus the entire plot and waiting for the manga to update regularly - six years after I first saw it.
9 - if I can remember the name of the MC and can remember enough details to explain the plot to someone. It needs to leave also a lingering feeling when it ends that I'm parting ways with a good friend
8 - I don't regret spending time on it, I had a good time, but I won't remember much in a month after watching 10 other anime
7 - wasted my time, but I'm not pissed about it because I was probably bored anyway when I saw it
6- wasted my time, I am pissed about it but I may give a sequel a chance
5-4 - wasted my f**king time
3-1 - dropped
