When an anime, or a manga at times, leaves an impression on me of any kind, I will label it near or as a masterpiece. That impression stays with me, a lagging idea, lesson, or theme after a conclusion and sometimes even after a simple arc. Whether it's a comedy, a drama, or an action, if there is something that resonates with me, something I remember, in a name, in a word, or even a melody, it deserves a high rating from me. If somehow, in this crazy fast paced life, a story, in the flood of so many, manages to leave an imprint, it deserves to be recognized. It stood out. Something about it makes it different and different is hard to come by these days. The entire thing doesn't need to be perfection, that's not what I see, perfection has so many unrealistic standards. It just needs to have that unique feeling, that standout feeling, something different. So I try to recognize different. I try to recognize those imprints.
