hahaha, yeah, a lot of the fans of the manga are quite disappointed by the premiere episode. there were so many problems with it: uneven pacing, generic overall animation, bland soundtrack, that I'm quite sure it would end up on the dropped list sooner rather than later. and being somewhat of a manga purist myself (lol), I'm quite tempted to give the manga a browse instead of watching the sub-par adaptation (according to the fans). 2 or 3 more episodes should do the trick.
anyways, Ippo Season 2 just premiered and I'm just waiting for teh subs. those who have watched the raw were raving about it, so I try to restrain myself from watching the raw. oh well, I'll get to it once I've finished transferring all the anime into my external hardrive (which should take some mote time with probably 150 gigs left to transfer). D:
All I'm gonna say about Ga-Rei Zero is......Yomi.....;_;
I do hope that they produce a second season for the show. it has amazing characters and Yomi was such a tragic character. problem is, a new season will have no Yomi. =/
well, at the moment, the holidays over here in So.Cal don't seem to festive. the weather last week was awful with heavy rain and even snow in some parts. this weeks no better, with rain forecasts until Friday. I try to distract myself with work and some other stuff.
the fall '08 season is pretty awesome so far, probably better than Spring '08 line-up, IMO of course. I'd recommend both Ga-Rei Zero and One Outs as the show you should watch from this season's slate of shows. Ga-Rei Zero is probably my surprise pick this season, and probably a lot of people as well. I want to give the rundown but the slightest spoiler might diminish your enjoyment so I'll keep my mouth shut on that one. On the other hand, there's One Outs, an anime about baseball directed by the director of Kaiji. though I haven't seen Kaiji, they say that the directing style of Kaiji is similar to One Outs, portraying an otherwise mundane game in a thrilling manner. its great stuff that you should really check it out.
ohh that's so cool i am kinda scared to graduate high school cuz then comes college and i don't wanna get even more hmwk D:

I think you are the creator of the band of the hawk club, i just wanted to say hello to a fellow berserk fan. %57.1 common anime, not bad i guess. :)
