It's from a webcomic called Annarasumanara, in case you didn't know.
Right should be right xD
To me, Hyouka was that anime that I kept waiting for each and every single episode...The way Hotarou solves the many mysteries in the anime was superb!
Apart from that, each episode was atmospheric and carried some nice essence with it that always filled my joy meter. I don't know how to express this any further really, but all I can say is that I really loved this anime! :)
What about you? How do you think of it so far?
Hope we could get along...
As for Little Busters, I'm enjoying it now that its focusing on the individual character arcs while adding a bit of a supernatural element to the series. Plus it just finished a really dark-themed arc and I look forward to more awesomeness. And besides the 26 episode series, there is a second season already confirmed or at least being hinted at. Watch it if you want to see more of Key's awesome story talent. It doesn't matter that it's not Kyoto Animation. It's still awesome.:)
Haibane Renmei: I've only seen 3 episodes and I am still finding a reason to watch but I know it is very hard to get an A+ quality rating from Anime News Network ANN. As long as the message and resounding impact is excellent, I think the series will be great. And thanks for the info. I'll keep watching. By the way, did you watch it dubbed or subbed?
Thanks. I've heard that about Elfen Lied from reviews. If you can get through the first episode, its an excellent series. And while we're mentioning bloody and good quality animes, let me recommend King of Thorn and Hellsing Ultimate. Both good in their own right, but it depends on what you like. Back to Elfen Lied, if its as good as you described then I will watch it. Just not at the moment. I don't think I want to put the effort into stomaching it right now, even though I know I can. Besides, it took enough effort to watch Clannad: After Story. I still think its a masterpiece anime, but it is sad and only through sheer force of will, did I avoid outright bawling. Besides, when watching it, you have to realize that it gets too depressing and by some means a 50 episode anime would have a worthwhile ending. I think that's what kept me going through the last few episodes. I can still do that for most series, but not consistently. I thought the same thing of Ef- a tale of memories. Very Keyish material and I still have to watch the sequel series, Ef- a tale of melodies.
I've heard great things about Tempest, but I still need to get around to watching it and looking it up in detail. I will, but not right now.
As for my opinion of SAO, everyone loves the first half and dislikes the direction of the second half. Now, don't think that this is a series that doesn't deserve to be watched. The action is for the most part, top-notch quality and the first 14 episodes really create a fantastic world. The art, music, animation, and characters are all for the most part excellent, and the absolute high point of this series is the boss fight in episode 9, the twist in the episode 14, and the final ending. And it may not credit the whole series, but I'll still keep SAO on my favourite anime list, just for the enjoyment of watching the series (if only for the first half). Now to clarify about why some people hate it. It was mainly due to over-hype and the second half. Now, I don't hate the second-half AS MUCH as other people, but I do agree that they had to budget cut on some areas. However, while the quality diminished, I don't think it was a total loss. There were plenty of great moments in the series. Complaints about the plot aside, I think it mostly succeeded in the story that it tried to tell and showed what a new and glossy 2012 anime could do in terms of action quality. I'd say that if anything, this shows that future animes can only get better, and I will look forward in case they decided to make a sequel series. I know the plot keeps going in the light novels and manga, and there have been many different versions, alternate endings (including a failure side), and more worlds explored with different characters. Plus this series seems to be a far-off prequel (in terms of Technology) to Accel World. In any case, they have no shortage of content, and I do hope they know what they're doing in the next season. So here's for the future of anime and possibly SAO. So watch it for a good action series and take what you can from it. Feel free to ask me any more questions about SAO or any other anime series.
Now as for all the series I am keeping up with watching (one for every day of the week), here's the list and my opinions. Sorry if I've mentioned some before.
Fairy Tail (Superb. Probably the only Shounen series I watch and am completely caught up on, since its still in its early stages, at episode 169. Love how they're handling the new arc and I appreciate how they're adding to the manga by expanding about 3 pages in a manga chapter into almost a full episode to lengthen it. I know its probably to allow both the manga and anime to end the current arc at the same time (in the continuity its only days apart), but it's still awesome. Plus I love the 14th intro and ending. It's almost laughable how one Piece is at 500+ episodes and is only on its 15th intro and ending. Awesome job Fairy Tail. I'll keep watching.:))
And just to note, I don't expect you to get into to any shounen series (if you haven't looked into it already), but this is a good getting-into-the-genre series. It may be on its fourth season, but the first season is jam-packed with arcs, and all the following arcs spread it out a bit more. Its takes a little while to get good (halfway through the second arc and intro the third, but the filler is minimal (only about 2 or 3 episodes between arcs). Has some great characters, superb animation, AWESOME music, a movie out on DVD tomorrow (online in two weeks), and some hilarious scenarios. Plus it has a superb manga, and the first season has been dubbed with season 2 and the movie upcoming. So thanks for listening to my rant and feel free to ignore it if you wish. But here's the trailer for the movie. It's technically outside of the continuity, but directed by the manga artist. Here's a trailer, 2 openings, and if you're interested, I'll tell you when a download link is up.

Kotoura-san (The most surprising anime of 2013. Watch 2 episodes and you'll know what I mean)
Magi (Epic, awesome, and hilarious. Getting really dark at times. I look forward to more. Plus an awesome manga release. Also I love the openings and endings. Very memorable material and just plain awesome stuff.)
Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo (Awesome. Reminscent of Toradora and Kokoro Connect in terms of relationships and is infinitely hilarious.)
Senyuu (Hilarious and this is the only 5 minute episode series I watch and enjoy. When its done airing, you could watch the whole series in a little over an hour. Episode 2 is to die for funny.)
Mondaijitachi ga Isekai Kara Kuru Sou Desu yo (Very VERY entertaining with awesome action and interesting, if not predictable characters.
Amnesia (Thinking of putting on hold until its gets a little more exciting or at least interesting, I still love the intro and it has a great concept. Very similar to K in terms of animation.)
Tamako Market (Supposed to be their original work. Just takes pieces and characters from their previous series, which were more awesome. Love the ending though.)
And look forward to this series.
Attack on Titan: Comes out in April and looks very SAOish in terms of action, but I mainly want to watch it just from the awesome poster. I have high hopes for this series. http://fc01.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2013/012/7/6/attack_on_titan_by_infotech1-d5r9o5g.jpg
So there's one of my trademarks insanely long comments. Enjoy and I hope you found some useful information and some awesome anime to invest your time in. Enjoy.:)
Great. I'm watching Haibane Renmei dubbed, and I think it's alright for the moment. From what I read in an ANN review, I know why its a great series, I just need to watch more to appreciate it. Plus, while I'm find handling blood, gore, and anything like that, I'm still hesitant to watch series like Elfen Lied (Even if I know its mainly in the first episode), and after the first episode of Haibane Renmei, I'm not sure if I'll see any more in the series. Probably, but I'll still watch it.
Anyway, sorry for being squeamish, and when I have time I'll continue those series.
Are you interesting in watching any more 2013 anime?
I'm looking forward to Attack on Titan when it comes out in April. Looks very SAOish in terms of action and I want to watch it just from the awesome poster (Character looks similar to main character from SAO). http://fc01.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2013/012/7/6/attack_on_titan_by_infotech1-d5r9o5g.jpg
Anyway, first of all I recommend watching more of Kotoura-san considering its still excellent and is most people's favourite anime this season.
Also, when you have time, I recommend getting back into http://myanimelist.net/anime/387/Haibane_Renmei. I just started it and I think it's excellent, and since you love Elfen Lied so much, I can tell you from what I've seen and what I've heard from friends that its an original and memorable anime with plenty of similarities to that series. Give it a try again when you can. http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=EL0R9-EdOYJmw
Thanks xD I picked the ones I liked and slapped it on
