I watched the first minute of the second video, and it confirmed everything I said about the plot, so how didn't I understand it?

I will watch both of them tomorrow.

Why do you always comment negative stuff here? I do not like to go into these kinds of debates because they are pointless, perhaps you could have picked someone else who gave it a negative review to argue with? It is 3.30 AM here where I live, but I am going to write this before logging off.

Now, what is the story of FLCL? I watched this exactly one month ago and I never bothered to re-watch anything from it due to how terrible it was, so my memory is a bit shaky. I said this in my review: "The story, if you can call it that, is just a bunch of random things that happen to every cardboard cutout in each episode, the random things being robots coming out from dimensions to wreak havoc on the city, all of that is due to a certain annoying alien girl tracking an alien boy to confess her love to him (Yes, this is the plot. If this does not make you drop it, then I do not know what will)."

Is that not the plot to FLCL? Now, I may have missed something like maybe let us say Haruko wanting Asdeth's power for her own selfish gains and toying with a mere child in the process, but really that is about the major plot for FLCL. It is just as awful as I have described it. Now it would have definitely worked a little better if the Anime was not so stupid and insulting as to add in these random parody scenes while also trying to be serious at the same time, so all in all, it came off as pretentious bullshit.

I don't want to drop every Anime I watch, that is why. I hope something gets better with time. I don't feel comfortable dropping shows because I feel I wouldn't form my full opinion about them until I have seen them to their very final episodes. Also, I see you gave Naruto a 4/10 yet you completed it?

It was so different from the things I was used to at the time like Sailor Moon, Pokemon and Dragon Ball Z.
I still go back and watch it from time to time.
I have seen the first 4 episodes of Mahoutsukai No Yome and so far I like it, I thought it was gonna be darker than it is which is the opposite to Inuyashiki which I thought was gonna be fairly lighthearted and then bam child murder.

I have yet to watch the latest episode of both shows but I am going to today.
I also noticed Akira is on top of your top 10 list, it was the first adult anime I ever watched when I was a kid on SBS back in the day.
