Yup! I understand that Fate/Zero was made after Fate/Stay Night, and that this adaptation is of higher quality than the Studio DEEN adaptation from 2006 (or so I've heard), but I couldn't help but feel like Ufotable decided to remake Fate/Stay Night as a follow up to the success of Fate/Zero. I'm sure it's an accurate representation of the source material as well, but I just wasn't as interested in this season as I was for the first season of Fate/Zero which left me a bit disappointed and made it difficult for me not to compare the two. Thanks for your feedback! I look forward to season 2!
You're looking at one of her most avid fans ever, lol.
Anyways, Kindan has got to be her best single since two years, though. I really like it, and it's a shame that she sold very little compared to her other ones. However, it's still quite a feat as many other artists had significantly gone down much, much more than Nana.
Anyways, to justify why I do watch the show, because of the seiyuu cast, especially Mizuki Nana.
I watch any show with her in it just because she's my favorite singer/seiyuu.
The OP and the two insert songs in the first episode and whichever episode with Tusk it was was all her.
Both seasons of Valvrave were equally terrible, but what Valvrave did doesn't have anything to do with Cross Ange because there are completely different series from completely different directors (I think).
I suppose there is the current aspect that the show is not done, but 8/25 is 32% which is already 1/3 of the series. At this point there is almost no way the show will redeem itself.
Saying that female characters fluctuate in their personality is hasty generalization. I don't usually watch mecha, but there are too many other shows with fantastic female characters with personalities that don't fluctuate and are actually appealing and relatable. Osaki from Nana, Taiga from Toradora, Winry, Olivier, Izumi from Fullmetal Alchemist, Haruhi from Ouran, even Sera from Haganai, these are just a few examples.
I see that you haven't watched too many good shows with good females yet so I suppose I can understand why.
Thank you for correcting that mistake; I will fix it right now.
However, I disagree with your claim on Ange. Is she suppose to be "consistent" with her attitude? What claims of consistency are there when she still ignores that short little girl and that pink haired one after she finally starts talking to them?
Furthermore, the sole purpose of whisking Ange into this battle hardened place is to change her and have her get slowly accustomed to being a Norma. By your claim on "consistency", that means that from having three people killed, crashed in an island, killing countless DRAGONs, to the beach episode, none of those matters had changed her as a person. Which means, in shorter terms, she had no character development in the slightest bit.
And that still solidifies the fact that the show fails in just the character aspect alone without delving in other details.
