It's like Sim City and Animal Crossing put together. I've only played the 1st one, but I know they have several sequels like My Sims Kingdoms. It's basically a spin-off series that's on going so I'm sure you'll find a My Sims game for something that you own~ :D
Yeah I have to work on mine... they sound real funny when they have to load between screens or cutscenes, etc. Make all these grinding noises and stuff. But I don't really know what I'm doing ^^; I need help cleaning them properly
Yeah that sounds like my experience with Harvest Moon, I'm glad they changed the dynamic. (I think maybe more girls play these games then guys anyways)
Yeah, that's my peeve with the Sims. 'Urbz: Sims in the City' was different though, that was also for the Gamecube. And a little game called 'My Sims' for the Wii, it was basically Sims all turned chibi and heavily borrowed the formula from the Animal Crossing games, which is another great series .^_^.
I've got 4 different old and dusty PS2's, all of which barely work. It depends on the game and time of year i think, i swear they've sumhow developed a mind of their own.. 0_0
So I'll try and get Tales of the Abyss for the PS2
Harvest Moon has really changed, for the better i mean. You used to not even be able to pick to be a girl, but you always had a colorful cast of characters to compete for. That's what I liked most about them, how they mixed such cute romance into a simulation game. But when I was playing them, everyone was talking about Sims, but i think Sims is shallow in comparison. Well, maybe not shallow, but it lacks the charm Harvest Moon delivers for me.
Gamecube had some impressive RPG's, the few it did have. Uh, what was Abyss for again?
You like Harvest Moon too? That's uncommon. It's good to find someone else who appreciates it~ Pokemans and Kirbs is great too of course, I grew up on Nintendo games after all.
I haven't played tales of abyss, but I remember playing tales of Symphonia on the Gamecube and that game was great ^^
Since you have a 3ds, yeah I would start out with 8. or 9, i think that's on there too, also 5 i think? It's hard to say which to start with, you have to make that connection yourself like you did with FF10. You may never get into the DQ games like you did with final fantasy and that's ok too :)
The Dragon Quest games are very very similar to the FF games in alot of ways. You dont have to start from 1 to get to 8, all the stories and worlds for the most part are different in each game just like with FF, so you can start anywhere. Back in the days before playstation, Square Soft (who made FinalFantasy) hadn't yet merged with Enix (who made Dragon Quest) So since there was no Square-Enix, these two companies competed with each other with their FF and DQ games, seeing who could make the best RPG and get the most fans. That's why they ended up similar-ish~
Things are different now and you could say Final Fantasy won, but the DQ games are still great to play if you love FF like us <3
Well, about 10-2, the battle system is really good and face paced, you can switch jobs mid battle and there are a ton of cute outfits! But the story is just very lack luster, I wouldn't say bad but lacking. Not to mention there are multiple endings for it, but I would still play it for yourself since you like final fantasy ^^
Yeah, get the ps4 remaster becuz you will enjoy 12 c:
You can get Dragon Quest 8 remastered for the 3DS, its a great JRPG that plays like the ps1 era final fantasies
I've been told 15 has product placement everywhere in the games city, but I thought that cup noodle stuff was pretty funny, especially that big summon or wutever (is that Bahamut?) swimming in the giant cup! xD
Yeah 10 is great too, even the blitz ball parts, I remember the ending had me bawling ;__; I didn't care much for how X-2 handled the story afterwards. I like em both pretty much the same too, but I cant help but to want to annoy my big bro to death when i can... >:3 I'm ebil like dat~
OH wait yeah it is on regular DS, not the 3ds sorry. It's like a sequel in the sense that it's in the same world and controls mostly the same, but you get new jobs and abilities. The characters and story are completely different, but there is some referencing to the 1st one and FF12.
You see the advance tactics games and FF12 all take place in the same world at different time periods: Ivalice. So you better appreciate the games if you end up playing all 3, but you don't need to enjoy them on their own; you know how it is :p
cup noodle 15 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRh4MZ8nhhY
Squall is also my big brothers favorite, and he's the one who got me into FF in the 1st place lol. We would always argue which is better: 8 or 9? I'd always say 9 but his love for Squall is so great he would always stand by 8. xD
FF tactics advance 1 & 2 are for GBA (GameBoy Advance) and I think the 2nd is for 3DS. You can prolly play the first one on an emulator nowadays, it's really addictive. If you have played 12, you'll recognize your Moogle partner Montblanc right away. He's the 2nd main character, he's your default black mage basically and this is the 1st game he appears in.
oh? I haven't played 15. It looks really strange, I guess I'm more of a fan of the older style JRPG's but if I ever get a PS4 I'm sure to give a chance. So is Eiko your favorite? Or Squall or Zidane? I don't think I really have a most favorite of favorites, but I've always loved the moogles kupo~ You know if you ever play the final fantasy tactics advance games you can have a whole small army of moogles ^o^ their job classes can be pretty OP but not as OP as the Vierra (if that's how you spell it, the bunny women from 12)

That one was my favorite too kupo~
