what MusicLover101 said, Aku No Hana is one hell of an anime. All you need to get through is the art style, but imo that's what made it even better.

I see you have Aku no Hana on your ptw list. I watched it and can tell you right now that it is one of my favorite anime of all time! Trust me, you'll love it😉

Kind of depends on your preference. There is a LOT of drama in the later episodes. It is still quite entertaining to watch though

Try watching No Game No Life or Kyoukai No Kanata or both! They're both action/adventure and they deal with romance (NGNL not as much but Kyoukai definitely has romance) They're both have 12 eps and no second season (unfortunately) so they're quite short and you could probably watch it in no time :)

Okay if you want romance anime, I mostly recommend:
Nagi no Asukara (slice of life, fantasy and ofcourse romance) - You might think the first episode is not that great but when you get into the story at some point it's really good, probably the best anime I've watched so far.
Inuyasha (fantasy, demons, action, adventure and romance) - This anime is super long so it'll take quite some time to finish, again, this anime also has a really good storyline.
Kamisama Hajimemashita (fantasy, romance, comedy) - This anime is pretty comedy-focused at some points but it's really funny. This doesn't mean that it doesn't have a good story.

If you're looking for an anime that doesn't have much romance but is still really good I think you should watch Death Parade.
