I suppose so but you can't really get very far in sciences here unless you have an official degree. Tbh, for me it's mostly for the social life and just having a reason to leave home - I'm a pretty independent person so I don't enjoy still living with my parents. In England anyways, I'd say unis are much more popular than they've ever been - now it's kind of just the expected route so there's a lot of degrees that are ridiculously specific in order to cater to everyone.

Well I'm a bit too far into the process to change my mind now even if I wanted to xD I should be going to the University of Oxford this summer as long as I get the grades. Obviously, the grades are being centre assessed now because of covid so it's looking like I should be fine, however, ya never know how things will go. It only takes me getting on the wrong side of one teacher in the next couple months and I'm screwed xD

Well for recommendations I’d probably recommend katanagatari - I get the feeling you’d probs dislike the monogatari series, which is my favourite series 😂, so katanagatari has the same author but it’s more toned down. Bunny-girl senpai is another one I really liked - it’s pretty character driven and has an interesting concept imo.

And life-wise, fast is probably best to describe it 😂 I’m going to university this year which is always a massive deal in England. We’re a bit pretentious about unis and degrees.

ah, basically since i'm a catholic we have this thing called a lent season where we give something up that we love for 40 days. last year, i chose to give up anime for 40 days which was a mistake, but it was alright.

I've been doing alright, though! been doing well with music stuff and staying on top of my grades as much as possible D; but yeah, doing alright.
